- Sean Rea is a Singer/Songwriter with a mid/Atlantic accent. His travels have taken him across the world, from the rootsy pub scenes of Scotland and Ireland,to the clubs of LA and every Beach/Bar between there and his home in Donegal..
As a left-handed kid in LA, Sean could not afford a guitar to accommodate his needs, so learning to play right handed guitar, upside down and backwards may show a bit of character and something of his unique personality.
He is unlike any of his down to earth Belfast family. Sean has always been a romantic,a bit of a Nomad unwilling to compromise his music or his dreams. There is a real honesty and soulfulness that you can feel in his work.
Twelve string acoustics and so many musical influences run deep through his sound. There is no point naming names, he just loves Great Songs and the sound of Rickenbacker guitars. Laid back LA acoustic rock mixed with Belfast urban celtic works nicely for him.
