- The 'Bring Back Cavan Cola' campaign was set up by Conor Lynch from connector.ie & has 2,500 Bebo & Facebook members. We've been on the BBC web site, Metro Dublin, Irish News, 2FM, Newstalk, UTV 105, Northern Sound, Cavan Post & Cavan Echo !!
Cavan has been robbed of its identity, its lifeblood and we want it back ! Imagine Kerry with no butter ??!!
Cavan Cola is a forgotten symbol of what Cavan stood for - Cavan Cola defines refreshment, coolness & vintage Cavan culture of old. It has been sorely missed !! No more Cavan children should have to grow up not being able to drink 'Cavan Cola' from the brown bottle with a bag of Tayto !!
Cavan Cola was born in 1984 & was so popular it became something of a nationwide phenomenon. In 1995, Cavan Mineral Water was taken over and some fool started phasing out Cavan Cola. By 2001, Cavan Cola had disappeared.
There are a few old bottles out there but we want it back, fresh and bubbly !

Lets reunite with puff ball skirts, leggins, shinny grey suits, skinny ties, florescent earrings, meeting at the back of Ballinagh Community Centre and start a march from Breffni Park, up the new road, out by the Crystal hotel, onto the new roundabout, avoid the stone throwing in Kells, get caught in traffic in Navan, slip in Dunshaughlin, call into the Tara and say hi!, hit the big shmoke and circle the Dail, demanding that Bertie give us his pay increase to produce this elixir of youth once again!!!!!
It's nearly Budget Day - Please Mr Cowen gve us some money to produce the only pure and true black stuff once again.
I can see brown little moustaches all around me now..ah the sugar...the froth...the high high high of a hyperactive Cavan(wo)man!
