- Darren Hayes could never be accused of doing anything by convention. In a music industry terrified by ever decreasing sales, where budgets are being slashed and the dumbing down of artistry is commonplace - Hayes has pulled out all the stops and recorded an epic and theatrical double album.
He has defiantly said no to the seductive invitation of the majors and is instead gearing up to release his latest album on his very own independent label ‘Powdered Sugar’. Darren Hayes is doing things his own way. And he wants everyone to know about it.

We're thrilled to announce that Darren Hayes is to perform a special New Years Eve show in London on Dec 31 2009 in an intimate club setting. It will be hisfirst public live concert in almost 2 years. He'll perform a fully live show with his band and then continue on to party playing his selection of his favorite club records until 3 am. Those who attended the 2007 New Years show were treated to an intimate and unique show with a sense of being at a party rather than gig. This year's show will continue the tradition with a one off set list full of hits and surprises. Tickets are exactly the same price as 2007 - £99 and are on sale now at http://www.ticketweb.co.uk Members of Delicacy - the official Darren Hayes fan club - were able to purchase tickets via ticketweb 24 hours prior in the pre sale on April 20 and will receive early access to the venue plus one guest (member and guest must both have a valid ticket each). Members will be advised of how to register for early access via the fanclub members forum. Those who can make it can be assured of a New Years Eve to remember. As this is a licensed venue the age restriction is 18 years and over. |

'This Delicate Film We've Made' hits UK record stores on Tuesday Feb 3rd. Not released anywhere else in the world! It's PAL and region free so Australian peeps - this will work on your players and anywhere else that can play PAL format. This is the result of 3 years of planning and a solid year of work for animator Richard Cullen, with work by Damian Hale and the incredible artwork of Jane Wallace.
