- Seraphim Pictures is an independent film & television production partnership based in Wales, UK. We have a background in events coverage and documentary production, but also have short film and music video productions in our creative portfolio. In 2006 we were accredited by the 59th Festival de Cannes for our short film "The Things Unsaid" which played at the Festival's Short Film Corner.
Soon after, we took the content and production values that had resulted in our entry to the international film market, and began developing ways of delivering the same services to the corporate sector in the UK. We believe that a promotional movie needn't break your marketing budget, and understand that there are companies out there who have traditionally been priced out of using movies as a route to market. Our goal is to deliver professional movie content to companies on a limited budget, helping them promote themselves to a larger section of their target market. - Music

"Web reputation will make or break you"
From the Mail on Sunday, 11/01/09
"Web reputation will make or break you"
written by Nic Paton
Landing a lucrative contract in future could depend on a firm's online reputation.
In the same way that buyers and sellers give each other ratings on sites such as Amazon, businesses - particularly those operating online - could find themselves being marked, says Honathan Winter, founder of Oxford workplace consultancy Career Innovation. 'This means people must make sure they "own" and manage their internet reputation in a way that they have not done before,' he says.
One entrepreneur already actively doing this is Daniel Lyddon, creative director at film and TV company Seraphim Pictures, based in Bridgend, South Wales.
He maintains profiles of his company and its work, including endorsements from clients, on a range of professional websites such as wecando.biz, linkedin.com and ecademy.com.
'It shows we are a reliable brand and it is simply a good referral,' says Daniel, 25. 'It is like online word-of-mouth, basically. Managing your reputation an what is said about you on the web will become second nature.'
A big challenge, says Ian Hendry of London-based wecando.biz, will be to have mechanisms in place to ensure ratings are not affected by unfairly negative comments or by someone being malicious.0 Comments 300 days

Fragments & Echoes
Hi everyone,
We've been blowing the dust off some old footage recently and came across our coverage of "Fragments & Echoes" for Community Dance Wales back in 2005.
It seems a shame that we didn't re-use the footage after the initial coverage, given the quality of the Fragments & Echoes event.
Having looked through the footage, we're reimagining it as the basis for another arts documentary; something we've already pitched to one of the satellite channels.
Over the next few weeks we'll be uploading short clips from Fragments & Echoes in between the intallments for the "Behind the Line" documentary. Let us know what you think of them, as we'll be using the viewing figures to support our pitch.0 Comments 472 days

Behind the Line: The Making of a Musical
Dear all,
Just a quick note to let you know that we've *finally!* been able to launch "Behind the Line: The Making of a Musical" on the Seraphim Pictures YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/seraphimpictures
The very first documentary made by Seraphim Pictures looked behind the scenes of the 2005 production of "A Chorus Line" at the Cardiff International Festival of Musical Theatre. We've split it into six segments, one of which will be uploaded each Friday for the next six weeks.
Unfortunately as is often the case with YouTube the sound and video are compressed to allow the video to fit online...depending on the speed of your connection and the resolution of your computer screen the footage may not be the same quality as was on the original DVD.
If there are any major problems please let me know, and if any of you are brave enough to watch it via your mobiles I'm keen to hear the results (although I won't be held liable for the download fees!)
Please take the time to watch and by all means tell your friends: the higher the viewing figures, the better the chance we have of launching our own-brand channel hosted by YouTube.
Thanks for reading, happy watching, and enjoy taking a look Behind the Line ;-)
All the best,
Daniel Lyddon
