  All Callsigns ( www.AllCallSigns.org )is a UK-wide network of ex-forces people who aim to support each other in the world of business.
  
  Whether you're just starting out, already in business, seeking employment or just making new contacts, this site has everything to offer.
  
  The network is FREE to use, and features include:

  *How It Works*
  Network Marketing involves a group of businesses or business people who agree to use, recommend, and help each other out when the opportunity arises. The ex-forces community is already a close-knit group and this project seeks to bring them together further in the world of business.
  
  *Social Networking*
  Websites such as Myspace and Facebook have taken the Internet by storm. They are an extremely powerful tool in bringing people together, but their main use so far has been social. We are using the same technology to bring together an otherwise disconnected group in the world of business. There’s strength in numbers!
  
  *In More Detail*
  Users are able to create a profile on the site and fill out as much or as little information about themselves as they like. They are able to search for other users by area, field or personal information, make contact with those users through our system and add them to their contact list. Once accepted, that user is able to see the other users contacts, and contact them if they wish.
  
  *Local Networking Groups*
  Adding another layer to the UK-wide network are local networking groups. A local networking group is a network inside a network. It consists of a separate member list and a discussion forum viewable only to members of that group. If a group is set up for a user’s local area, they can join; If one is not available, they have the ability to create one themselves.
  
  *Member Blogging*
  Users of the site have the option to start their own blog, much like an online diary. They can use this to keep others informed of their progress in finding work, starting a business, or simply to keep track of everyday life. Users have the option to make their blogs public, or limit viewing to their selected ‘contacts’. Members who have access are able to post messages of support, give advice, or discuss issues at the end of each blog post.
  
  *Discussion Forums*
  Our discussion forums are an important part of the site. It is the main place for network members to chat with one another, discuss related issues and network. Topics covered include small business, employment and resettlement advice although members are free to discuss whatever they like. The forums are moderated to ensure that nothing illegal is posted and no potentially compromising information is given away.
