- I am a mild mannered youth justice worker(don't ask) by day and a freelance illustrator/designer by night. What this essentially means is that I have a day job which pays the mortgage etc and allows me to indulge my hobby of creating, mostly digital, artwork which I make available to buy at www.zazzle.com/mac101* and through my website www.mac101illustrations.co.uk

Halloween
Halloween is fast approaching and it is all my son seems to talk about. To the extent that he dragged me out of bed at 08.00 on a Saturday morning to carve a pumpkin( he's only three by the way)I must admit that I quite enjoyed doing it and the end result was pretty good if I do say so myself... it's just that well a few hours sleep might have been nice. I suppose I shouldn't complain because he's had my wife(who's 9 months pregnant!) sewing capes and making hats for a wizard costume at all hours of the night, in fact Halloween has turned our house upside down at the moment.God help us if the new baby arrives on Halloween and get's in the way of his party. Anyone who has visited before will see that I have changed my skin to a suitably scary backdrop( which anyone is welcome to use). The main picture is of death standing in the woods with a cabin in the background. I changed the colour scheme to match the skin and to simplify it-if you'd like to see the original you could scoot over to my imaginefx page(url listed in my profile)or nip over to www.zazzle.com/mac101* where I have turned it into a Halloween card. What is this "Blog" you speak of?
A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog........eh? Any entries in this blog are unlikely to be related, factual important or even interesting to anyone but me but hey it's my page so I can do what I like.... can't I?0 Comments 745 days

I was just talking to someone about you the other day, telling them how amazing your art was when we were at Caldervale so I thought I'd check if you were on bebo.....and there you were!
Hope things are good. Wendy and I have just moved to a new house in Moniaive and plan to open up a B&B.....never thought I'd be doing that! I'll keep working for the Fire Service and she'll give up her job to run the B&B. Life keeps changing but its quite exciting.
Take it easy mate. Hope to hear from you sometime.
