- Hue and Cry made their mark in the late eighties with the hugely successful albums Seduced and Abandoned and Remote, spawning smash hit singles such as ‘Labour of Love’ & ‘Looking For Linda’. Their award winning style of strongly written pop songs fused with a unique brand of soul brought them continued success as the band marched into the nineties releasing more acclaimed work including the chart-storming Top Ten album Stars Crash Down, amongst others.
It was their involvement in ITV competition show ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ in 2005 which re-awakened their pop spirit and encouraged them to venture back into the pop arena. After playing a number of sell out shows they released Open Soul, in September 2008, which was followed by two UK wide tours.
As they gear up to engage new fans, with new shows, and new recordings to come, the brothers Kane have a long-term plan to stick around and continue to do what they do best - writing and producing classic pop music with a contempory edge

Hue and Cry will be releasing a new album on 30th November entitled Xmasday. The album, which contains a mixture of brand new Hue and Cry tracks along with some classic songs and seasonal favourites, takes the listener on a typical Christmas day journey, from the early morning air of excitement, through all the ensuing fun and festivities, to the contented end of the day. It’ll be available as ten track CD and digital download. The album will also be available as part of the Deluxe Limited Edition Gift Box.

The History City Xmas Weekend - Update!
As previously announced, this Christmas Hue and Cry are presenting The History City Xmas Weekend. Until now, access to the shows has been available to Hue and Cry fans exclusively via platinum pass packages. These packages have now been made available to the general public and are selling fast so make sure you don’t miss out!
Platinum passes are still available and from today you can also purchase tickets for the Friday night Piano & Vocal show and the Saturday night full band show separately. Please note that there will be no separate sale at any time of the ‘extras’ included in the platinum pass package.
The History City Xmas Weekend - two special Hue and Cry shows over one weekend in their home town of Glasgow at the renowned ABC venue on Sauchiehall Street. Friday 18 December will see Pat and Greg Kane perform an up close and personal piano & vocal performance in the intimate surroundings of the venue’s ABC2 room. Saturday 19 December will see the brothers line up as part of the full seven piece band for a spectacular event in the venue’s main ABC hall.
