Soul Circus Mission Statement…… (Rock n Roll revivalists) The Circus do not (and will never) change with the times…. we are here to change the times. ……..We are the voice for the un-silent majority of people disillusioned by the Ryvita biscuit (good for your health but tasteless and boring), diluted, soul-less nonsense that passes for today’s music scene. We are revivalists of the great art of rock n rrrrrrollll baby…………. We pine for the good old days when rock n roll was rock n roll…. and wasn’t divided …..into sub categories…. then sub-sub categories (and so on) ….“oh it’s a old skool, new wave, mish mash of grunge/indie power pop with just a smithering of nu rustic metal, melancholy super trance …..with a cherry on top…(!?????FUCK OFF) .We play Rock n Roll music to make you feel like you rule the world !!!!!

- SoulCircus have played over 200 gigs since 2004 all over the UK. Highlights have included Glasgow’s, King Tut’s, the Arches and ABC, London’s Hope & Anchor and Liverpool’s Cavern Club.
- SoulCircus have appeared in the national media on several occasions, with articles in The Daily Record, The Sun & the Evening Times as well as being played on radio station XFM on numerous occasions.
- Our last batch of tracks on myspace prior to Nov 07’ was listened to by over 50,000 !!!!

We play music for the real people. People who know Rock n Roll is not about getting 75 quid haircuts from the men’s room and wearing nice shoes. Rock n Roll is the fight against everyday life wearing you down, destroying your soul and breaking your spirit until you become a thoughtless drone, accepting everything you are told, sitting on your fat arse soaking up GMTV & Big Brother like they contained messages passed down by the Gods.

Classic Grand Gig
The Classic grand will host the Soulcircus's next gig on Friday the 16th november in Glasgow. this night is also will be a quality night full of good times and drinking a happy folk. so get your arse down there for a cracking time wi us!. Friday the 16th is also Claire's (circus-ette) (ma burd) birthday so its an extra reason for another crate of beer doon the hatch.! rock n roll
