Información: The AMC is a small and friendly group of people, of diverse ages and backgrounds, who share a passion for the Scottish Highlands. Our main activity is hill-walking in its widest sense, from easy low level walks to long and more technical hill-walks. Other activities are also catered for in the meets programme. The minimum age for joining is 18, but there is no set standard of experience required for new members.

Every month we have a weekend meet and a monthly Sunday meet at the end of every month except December. The AMC also has two long weekends at the May and October holidays.

We are afficiated to the Mountaineering Council of Scotland (MC of S)which brings us significant benefits including use of club huts, third party insurance and a nice glossy magazine.
