- Described by NME as ‘Blistering, Frenzied, blood-stirring, rock that weaves its way through U2, the Foos and The Vines’ The Beat Poets are quickly becoming one of the most exciting new acts to emerge from Northern Ireland in recent years. BBC ATL described them as “Northern Ireland’s hardest working unsigned band” with the Irish Star claiming they could be the biggest band to come from the North of Ireland since Snow Patrol.
2008 seen the band again praised by the BBC as a band destined to go far, with legendary Irish music magazine 'Hotpress' in April 2008 stating The Beat Poets are "a band on the cusp of something big…truly special…our new favourite band”
The band will be releasing 'Staring Stars Down' on November 24th via all online store including www.itunes.com. 500 Limited edition signed copies will be available from the new Poets online store which will be launched on the new www.thebeatpoets.com in November 08!

Well lads! On saturday in the peg i took home a Nike bag that was very like mine as my black Nike was taken home by someone.
Both the bags are near the same but mine had all my cloths in it, Angel Chambers were on around 10.30 so i think the mix up may have happened when someone was taking the gear home after it, it was sitting were the equipment always sits in the peg and if youve played there before you know where that is. Id really love if someone could let me know were my bag is as i have someone elses bag also...btw Theres a Rupture Dogs CD in the bag that i took home if that helps lol..
