Welcome to ICM - Belfast, the music school for everyone. We only have one requirement for new students, that they want to learn.
We are now in our 4th year of operation and have relocated to a new bigger and better building just off botanic avenue. Here at the institute we pride ourselves on our relaxed, non-competitive approach to music tuition.
We place great emphasis on learning music whilst maintaining contemporary styles. Most of our teachers are regular gigging musicians with a good reputation throughout the music scene in Northern Ireland and sometimes further afar.
The Institute specialises in the tutoring of Alternative, Rock, Indie, Jazz, Blues and Pop music but will cater for any other needs. We also run workshops and masterclasses comprising of everything from experimental Music Technology to learning to sing in harmony. Feel free to contact us for more details.

Workshop with Ron Thaler(award winning Drummer and Producer)
Hi Guys,
We are organzing a workshop/masterclass with Ron Thaler to take place in late July and we want to check what sort of interest people would have so we can arrange prices (likely to be between £15 and £20). Places will be pretty limited for this i'm afraid.
Ron is an award winning Producer and Drummer and has toured and recorded with a wide range of people including Dweezil Zappa, DJ Logic, Tess, Sarah McLachlan, The Led Zep Project, Sophie B. Hawkins, Moev, Mae Moore, Taj Mahal, Simaku, Mercedes Ferrer, Lizzy Mercier, Taylor Dayne, Al DiMeola, Mike Stern, Hiram Bullock, Rufus Reid, Will Lee, Chip Jackson and Ray Anderson.
He also produced and drummed on Jason Yudoff’s newest album "Tragic Hero", Ron's work has garnered 4 GRAMMY NOMINATIONS …for Album of The Year, Record of The Year, Best New Artist, and Producer of The Year.

I know its a bit early but I was wondering if anybody would be interested in singing and/or drumming and possibly playing bass in the christmas concert.
I really would need a singer though as Steve can't be expected to do it everytime.
