  • More All Walks!

As you can see from the page we have added more images from All Walks. The designers that were involved were really positive about the project and here is what they said about it:

“All Walks is important because it demonstrates how the fashion world is taking the appreciation of all women seriously.” Mark Fast

“It’s been wonderful to make a connection with the woman who will wear my design. A model isn’t just there as a wa lking coat hanger. All Walks encourages this new wa y of designing.” - Georgia Hardinge

“All Walks Beyond the Catwalk is steering the way for diversity in the fashion industry, and is exactly what we need. It cha lenges the ideals of what beauty is and makes us think, really think. I am proud to be a part of such a project.” - Hannah Marshall

“Without individuality or identity, we have nothing that makes us special or important.” - David Koma

“Individuality gives people style and charisma and is what keeps life fresh and interesting. It’s really refreshing to be making and seeing fashion on a variety of different shapes and sizes.” - William Tempest

“Individuality makes you shine.” - Avsh Alom Gur

“When you work with a model so closely and fit the outfit exactly to her body, it just makes you think about the relationship of the garment to the body even more. It becomes more ‘alive’ in a sense.” - Cooperative Designs

“I have always believed that some of the most unique, beautiful, interesting, photogenic, catwalk-worthy models do not fit the current and very limiting modelling industry standard.” - Alexandra Groover

Hi, well done for being in recovery that must have taken a alot of hard work.

It sounds like you have done a brave thing going back to counselling - that is one of the best things you can do because it can help you work out why you are struggling again.

Don't be hard on yourself. Recovery has ups and downs and it's about learning positive ways of coping.

    You will get there.

Maybe you would fin it helpful to look at our recovery page http://www.b-eat.co.uk/YoungPeople/R... and why not call our youthline 0845 634 7650 or e-mail them at fyp@b-eat.co.uk to talk things through more.

    Take care

    Hi there,

Thank you for your comment. At the moment our social networking prescence is funded for work with young people although we know people over 25 use them too!

We do provide support for people over 25 too, an adultline for people 18 and over 0845 634 1414, e-mail help@b-eat.co.uk. As we are a small charity it takes us time to develop resources as we need to gain funding but in the next year or so we are hoping to develop more resources for over 18's particularly an adult recovery resource.

Im so struggling... I dont know what to do anymore. Im on waiting lists at the local ED clinic. I see my doc once a month and I go to a councillor - who is currently on holiday till July. Im so lost and cant handle this on my own. But despite all this theres no one around to help me. sigh.

I hope others are getting the help and support they need!!!
