- We are a flute band from the town of Armadale, in West Lothian. We were formed in 1983 and have been going from strength to strength ever since.
We parade in various parts of Scotland throughout the year with:
Armadale Purple Star LOL 111 - District 26
Harthill LOL 217 - District 30
Harthill RBP - Airdrie & Coatbridge District
We travel over to Lurgan for the 12th of July celebrations in Ulster, and we've built up a close relationship with Boyne Star LOL 16 from County Armagh, and Warringstown RBP. We encourage all our members to travel over for the 12th, and a good time is had by all.
We also participate in local Gala-days.
Our music ranges from military marches, to traditional Orange selections, played in both melody and first flute parts.
People may try and divide us..........They will never succeed!!!

Our Visits to Lurgan
August 1997
Black Saturday - This was when we arranged to Parade with LOL 16 in 1998.
This was the trip where Auld Wattie infamously got lost, because he crossed the wrong road.
July 1998
Padade: Lurgan
We paraded with 2 different Lodges that day, doing the parade twice (never again).
Also remembered for the year we went to Drumcree with the Brox.
July 1999
Parade: Portadown
Moved to Portadown in support of the Drumcree standoff. Roasting hot day.
July 2000
Parade: Killylea
Protests in the main st on the 11th.
July 2001
Parade: Keady
The year Stick pished the bed. Oh Sticky Sticky!
July 2002
Parade: Newtownhamilton
This was the year Derek Watson fell asleep in the park.
July 2003
Parade: Markethill
This was the first time we were over for 5 days, and what a 5 days it was. One of the best!
July 2004
Parade: Bessbrook
The carryout in the back of the estate car. Nuff Said!!!
July 2005
Parade: Portadown
Another roaster! Typical Portadown
July 2006
Parade: Richill
We found a pub with Magners a plentyfull
July 2007
Parade: Loughgall
1 pub, and a 3 mile walk to get there. Nuff Said!
July 2008
Parade: Tandragee
Another 5 dayer. Probably the best of the lot. A new young team to slag
July 2009
Parade: Armagh
This trip had it all. Sleeping bag race & flying mace! Sing songs galore, and banter was quality. I am the Music Man...
