  • Xbox 360 Offline Games Part 2

    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - What can I say about Oblivion that hasen't already been said? This is the one of the best Xbox 360 games I have played alongside Bioshock, but the reason is, is because it is unlike any others so far. If you love adventure games, you must own this! If you like achievements and want fun while playing, buy this. This game is very very long, gigantic world, excellent tasks and missions also gameplay. You may get bored now and again by travelling to Oblivion and back but that's a choice, you make your own decisions in the game. Choose where you want to visit, live, eat, drink, shop, explore, anything you like. My overall rating: 10/10, this is a MUST BUY.

    Try this if you like: Knights of the Old Republic, Bioshock, Fallout 3.


    Bioshock - This is a smashing horror game! Not your typical horror, run around dodging creatures, grap pieces of the puzzle, try not die (the usual drill). Instead, this is like an adventure packed into the horror which works extermely well. Not only does Bioshock have beautiful and amazing graphics but you actually feel you are in the game. Alot of people agree this game short. I don't think so. If you do find it short, you can always play it on the hardest difficulty which is a good challenge. You can explore, play the game at your own pace, no running out of ammo then getting killed also the death system is great. This game can easily be completed without dying but in case you die all the time, you just spawn near the area you were with the same weapons and objects. Using plasmids and weilding a wrench, you need to discover what happened to a beautiful underwater world called Rature with the help of a few friendly survivors. 10/10 for sure.

    Try this if you like: Dead Space, Resident Evil 4.

    Army of Two - Army of Two is also an online game but the reason I'm counting it as offline is because no one plays online anymore. This is a third person shooter with strange cover sytems and quick rushed missions. I don't hate this game, I find it boring. There isn't many missions but the only missions there is are exactly the same just with different locations and rambling. It's better with a friend in Co-op but only play this if you enjoy short Co-op games. Much repetitive but playable still. Weapons are nice to upgrade but you'll have to play this game loads to get 100%. Added cut scenes makes this game more enjoyable but it doesn't last long. Not a very good ending, overall the game feels rushed in parts. 5/10.

  • Xbox 360 Offline Games

    Alone in the Dark - Another Alone in the Dark game. After completing the first on Playstation 2, I had to get this one. But mostly for the achievements, if there wasen't any, I doubt I would have got this. Mostly, this is more of an adventure than a good horror game. Instead of doing hard puzzles you find yourself swinging on ropes, driving cars down town, making daring jumps, the hard part doesn't come until Episode 8, the last one. But Episode 7 and beginning of 8 are really dull. Running around Central Park, burning tree rots that are guarded by creatures, it gets really boring. Worst part of the game most people said including me. I'll give this a 5/10. It was a good effort to make this game but because of so many glitches and dull parts of the game, it just makes it one of the dullest offline games ever. If it wasen't for the walkthroughs on youtube, loads of players would have thought they need to do something to get past a certain part when really a glitch has happened causing them to get stuck.

    Hitman Blood Money - A great game to buy! Even if you haven't played the first few, just get this one. If you like spy movies or similiar ones to them, you will like this. I'll give it a 9/10. A great game, graphics, story but if only there was extra few levels and a few glitches fixed this would have been great. But to me, it already is a great game to play over and over again.

    Lego Batman - Well, first Lego Star Wars then Lego Indiana Jones and now Lego Batman? Can this get any better? Maybe... After playing the first two in the Lego series I was a little confused after hearing the next will be Lego Batman. Even more confused when I found out it wasen't going to be based on the movies. So, the game has the Batman themes from the 1989 Tim Burton Batman movie but the only problem is, this is a very long game if your aiming for 100% and listening to the same themes over and over again, get's a little boring for some people. Not for me though! A few glitches occur in gameplay, nothing too minor. The story is not very good, should have been based on the movies, but since it wasen't, it's not that great. The levels start to seem the same, smash Lego objects and everything and the bonus levels Wayne Manor and Arkam Asylum are a complete joke! But, a lot of hard work went into this game and I appreciate it, although it's not the best Lego game, it is a big fun game to try. Hours of fun and good achievements just don't expect to much from the levels. I'll say 8/10 for this. I was glad you could be all the Heroes, Villans and vehicles. The only problem with this game is that it's not as entertaining than Lego Star Wars TCS which I think is 10/10. Lego Indiana Jones 9/10, a bit too short. So, the best so far would be Lego Batman. Not as fun, but a great game with loads of characters, levels, games and all sorts. Give it a go! Most of all with a friend in Co-Op.

    The ending was dissapointing but overall the action wus brilliant but the story lost at some point coz it wus mostly action.

    but it wus the most action ive seen in a film in a long time :L

    Sorry its taken me so long to reply, between school, homework, Bond and err sleep, I've been busy! :D
    The game is great but its a bit easy don't you think? The chase is from Casino Royale is the one of the best levels I think. There just aren't enough enemies. Now I'll admit its good bit harder on 007 but its only because of health. As long as your patient and cover its not much harder. Your right about the Barge thing, its a fun level though! I actually got that Achievement while I was playing it the first time, I wasn't even trying for it. They made a bit of a mess of Quantum's plot, M and Bond seem to just know stuff randomly.
    The game's title song is brilliant. What do you think of it? The ending is a lot better than the movie's. I wonder will that be the start of Bond23?
    Oh yeah, what was that message about? The video wouldn't play for me.

    I'd say you'll be lucky to get in even a week later. I booked the tickets almost two weeks ago so I was grand! :D But I checked the site on the Friday and every showing of it was booked out, and it was on like 10 times during the day!
    Is the game any good, I'm dying to play it. I feel really stupid, I bought it online thinking I was getting it reasonably cheap but since I paid delivery I would have got it cheaper in the shops! >:( And it hasn't arrived yet! :( I'm really surprised at the price, its much cheaper than most new games.
    Now the movie. Its not as good as Casino Royale, but I knew it wouldn't be. Its a bit short and the plot is very thin but its really good. Weirdly they've edited the title song and it sounds terrible, they chopped sections out of it for some reason. So you'll hate it even more! :L
    Really, you can get full series on DVD? Cool. I must take a look. Stupid America! :L

    I never heard about that, I remember hearing about people buying Halo at midnight but I didn't know the shops were doing it for GTA too. :L Fights? Haha, no, not surprising at all!

    Well I'm sure we'll find out soon enough how the level will work. I'd say you're right there has to be some kind of short-cut, come on, 2 minutes?

    I don't mind (most) Americans either. It just annoys me when something is released there first and then they complain about it when we get extra stuff.

    I've been pricing it online and its working reasonably cheap from Game and Zavvi's sites. Its still dear but cheaper than I'd thought...

    Its really annoying me, I just cannot work out how that level could work, but I guess we'll know soon enough. Maybe Mr. White comes in and kills Le Chiffre before he starts "working" on Bond but where does he go? I think you'd need more than just medical supplies, the next time we see him in the movie he's in a wheel-chair! :L

    I know, its stupid. It is great we're getting the game and movie first. It so rarely happens.

    I know, its so pointless! They argue over such petty things. I mean the Wii has done the best, in terms of sales and reviews. But are there actually people on Live saying 360 is crap? Why even bother!?

    2 hours? Wow that is slow! :L

    LOL! I love holding grenades in cars but it must be very annoying in co-op if someone else keeps doing it! :L If you still have any left to do by the time I get on Live I'll give you hand. I'm going to have sooooo many achievements to get! I mean 1750 for Halo 3! :L

    I know, its crazy! If they're working on a new one fine, but tell us about it in about three years. I heard about the dahboard update. All the consoles seem to be stealing from each other, first PS3 start putting in achievements and now 360 are stealing the Mii's. I love making Mii's though, whenever I'm in my friends house I keep annoying him by making loads.

    I think I could be wrong about the demo, I don't think its actually out yet but soon. Is there a Quantum of Solace? Just under too weeks until the movie!:O

    Yes achievements are all that matter really! :L
