Frequently Asked Questions about Vintage Romance Publishing
Q) What is meant by "vintage" romance, and why did you choose this genre of romance?
A) Vintage is nostalgia. Our romances are set in time periods before 1969. We believe there is a vast audience out there clamoring for the love of yesteryear. Romance in the past was glorified, made to be bigger than life as it sparkled on the silver screen. That's what we intend to give to our readers, romances bigger than life with history in the mix.
Q) What formats does Vintage Romance Publishing publish books in?
A) Trade paperback only.
Q) Does Vintage Romance Publishing have any imprints?
Yes. Our Vintage Spirit imprint is for inspirational non-fiction, and our Vintage Inspirations imprint is for inspirational fiction. Additionally, we have a children's line (imprint title and logo coming soon).
Q) How do I submit my manuscript for consideration?
A) Currently, Vintage Romance Publishing is closed to submissions. However, we will reopen to certain genres on in the fall of 2008. Please see our submissions page.
Q) How can I get an autographed copy of one of Vintage Romance’s novels?
A) We would suggest you contact the author directly from his/her website. Most have implemented ways of distributing autographed copies. If the author in particular does not have a website, then please send a note to us at Vintage Romance Publishing, P.O. Box 1165, Ladson, SC 29456-1165. We do not, under any circumstances, give out authors’ addresses or telephone numbers.
Q) Where are Vintage Romance Publishing’s books available?
A) First, check with your local bookstore. If the book you’re looking for is not in stock, ask the bookstore to order it for you.
All of Vintage’s books are available through major online retailers. (Amazon.Com, Barnes and Noble, and Books-a-Million).
Additionally, Vintage Romance Publishing’s books are available through national wholesalers, Ingram and Baker & Taylor and are listed in Books in Print.
