FUSE are the face of new chillout, classical international music-video channel C Music TV!!
FUSE is an exciting collaboration combining the talents of Linzi Stoppard and Ben Levi. Acclaimed violinists in their own right, Linzi and Ben both share a real desire to popularise crossover music.
Formed in late 2007, FUSE's debut album will features a contemporary collection of well-known modern melodies, classical music and film themes, released is planned for 2008.
FUSE recently launched the 'Share a Stage' competition in support of the children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent, giving young musicians the chance to play with them at Glastonbury 2008.

Linzi Stoppard fronts children's charity CLIC Sargent's PRACTICE-A-THON
Electric Violinist Linzi Stoppard and her band FUSE http://www.myspace.com/fusemusic are lending their support to CLIC Sargent and the Practice-A-Thon campaign to inspire kids to pick up an instrument and practice. 25% of the money raised goes back to the participants' schools and 75% to CLIC Sargent.
To promote the Practice-A-thon campaign Linzi Stoppard and FUSE are launching 'Share A Stage' - kids aged from 13-24 years old can submit a video to Youtube of themselves performing and a judging panel will decide on a winner. The lucky performer will play live with Linzi and FUSE at GLASTONBURY 2008!!

Sinclair Mackenzie61 weeks agoLoving the Bridge for band work, such a good sound compared to the old one.
The G is quite "boomy" through the PA though. Do you feed your signal through a 31 band equaliser to even it out or do you use different types of strings to match their volumes?
I've been using the Tonicas that came with it but I broke the E and put a Dominant spare on instead - sounds the same. Was wondering if a metal string like Helicores would be good. Have you tried those at all or do you always use a synthetic core?
Are you doing any work with Practice-A-Thon this year? -
