- Virtue & Slammer are the hardcore duo behind their superb debut track Don't Go. Consisting of Ed Virtue hailing from London and Mark Slammer from Manchester the two are destined for big things in the hardcore scene. Originality is their philosophy, all tracks being written and produced by themselves. "We don't do covers, we'll leave that to all the others" says Ed Virtue.
"Our aim when writing and producing a track is to keep it original, credible and accessible to a wide audience without compromising on quality. We want the listener to instantly recognise our sound and to be blown away, not achieving this is never an option for us when we're producing a track"

March Update
Nice, nice. More progress for us. We've been approached by several labels over the past year but we've found one worthy our attention and time. At the moment we're having close negotiations with Electrik Euphoria and we should be looking at a release with them this summer.
For those of you who don't know, Electrik Euphoria is a label fronted by hardcore legends MC Marley and Dj Scandal. They've had 3 releases so far on their label and at the moment are regularly booked up for massive hardcore events including H.T.I.D. Tracks signed to their label include the awesome Find Your Way by Spenno & Jess featuring one of Styles & Breeze's finest remixes.
There's more information that I could give you regarding Don't Go, but I like keeping people hungry for more.

February 2008 Update
We've decided to take down all samples of our debut track Don't Go while we continue to negotiate with respective labels. Next month will see us demo the track to Darren Styles' new label and we may even unveil which legendary hardcore producers have remixed Don't Go.

New news...
Admittedly the past few months has been pretty quiet for Virtue & Slammer. We have been very busy behind the scenes writing new material and dealing with legalities. We hope to see Don't Go available for digital release on Jan 21st 2008 and to be featured on 1st and 2nd Quarter 2008 albums.
I've uploaded some new samples hopefully to keep you satisfied. If you're not satisfied do let us know, we're here to keep the hardcore fans happy and to keep the hardcore scene alive so if we're not doing it right let us know!
