- It’s over ten years since Hannah’s blend of incisive ballads and savvy pop first made its mark. Her long reign has brought repeated recognition, including the republic’s Best Female Artist award on two occasions.
Now, for autumn 2009, the stakes are raised again and Hannah is in impressive company. The singer, writer and pianist has been composing and recording with some of the most in-demand sidemen in the business. The roll call includes Steve Robson, co-writer of Take That’s ‘Shine’, James Morrison’s ‘Undiscovered’ and ‘The Pieces Don’t Fit Anymore’, among others; Steve Booker, co-writer and producer of Duffy’s ‘Mercy’ smash and collaborator with Sugababes and Grant Black, who wrote Liberty X’s ‘Song 4 Lovers’.
The results will be heard Hannah’s new single ‘Shadow On The Wall’, due out November 23. A force to be reckoned with this winter, it’s strong melodies and instantly sing-a-long chorus make it the perfect pop song.

Going back to school!
Hey everyone,
Sorry I didn’t get a chance to write to you all last week, I was so busy with interviews after The Daily Hannah, I just lost track of time. It was lovely to meet so many of you on the streets of London though and I really hope you enjoyed reading my paper. Did you all tune in to Radio 1 on Friday night to hear my new track Shadow On The Wall? I was dancing all around the room when I heard it come on and loved hearing all the comments that came in about it! It’s such an amazing feeling to know everyone is enjoying my song.
This week is a really exciting week for me as it’s the start of my schools tour and I’m really looking forward to getting out and about and meeting lots of my fans. Also Bebo have chosen me as one of their featured artists so if you’re a Bebo user keep an eye out for a feature on me this week.
