Amazingly it is now 2008 and with multiple projects in the works, including a Bring Back Five Star Petition, things are look smashing baby yeah.

Denise Pearson lands lead female role in Thriller Live musical in West end
Five Star singer joins Thriller
Five Star were best known for Rain or Shine and The Slightest Touch
Former Five Star lead vocalist Denise Pearson will make her London West End debut in Thriller - Live, a musical based on the career of Michael Jackson.
She will be joined by Ricko Baird, who choreographed and doubled for Jackson in the You Rock My World video.
Baird has also toured alongside the singer, whose hits include Bad and The Way You Make Me Feel.
The show, which has already toured Germany and Holland, starts in January at London's Lyric Theatre.
Earlier this month open auditions were held to find a young actor to play Jackson on stage.
Five Star was made up of five brothers and sisters
Three teenagers, all aged 13, were selected after they impressed the casting panel by singing the Jackson 5 hit I Want You Back.
The opening performance of the show, which celebrates Jackson's career and features his hits, will take place on 2 January.
The singer himself is not involved in the production.
Essex group Five Star were a family group in the style of the Jacksons, scoring top 10 hits from the mid-80s including Rain or Shine and System Addict.

OMG i cannot believe that Bebo have a Five Star page. I think i must of been ur biggest fan, i know everyone says that but my room was covered in posters ! i had badges, picture discs, albums. I even knew the dance moves which i still do with my friends for a party piece. I remember seeing Five Star in 1987 at the Kings Hall in Belfast at the Ultrabrite Tour ! ha ha It was brilliant !

Was a big fan back in the day - still got all the vinyl up in the loft. Saw them live at the Pavillion in Glasgow many moons ago. Great fun!! Bring back five star!!!

I totally LOVE 5 Star and i have done since i was a wee girl. Never got the chance to see them in the 80's but went to see them in the Hear & Now concert at Wembley Arena about 5 years ago. They were FANTASTIC. Sadly, there was only 3 of them but they were still GREAT. I was dressed all in black and made myself a t-shirt with 5 Star on the front in silver sequins. Wore a leather glove, maximised the hair and make-up and ended up getting myself right down the front so i was right underneath them. I couldn't do anything but scream and cry. ( i'm 30 yrs old by the way lol ). Ended up getting my photos taken by some guy with a press id badge thing on. Dont know if the photos were ever used lol. Would have loved to have seen them lol. 5 Star are the best pop band ever and whenever im feeling a bit down, i just play one of their cd's and it cheers me up. Oh and i know some of the dance routines right through. Favourite one to do is "Can't wait another minute". Did them at the concert too.
