- Beatnic Prestige hit the ground running in 2009 with a full blown nationwide tour promoting their debut, self-titled EP. Twenty or so dates saw them travel the length of Britain, from Elgin to London.
Our debut single 'GOOD TO GO' has just been released on itunes. We are having a single launch party on May 22nd at Velocity in Dunfermline. Tickets are available from ticketweb and 3rd Base record store. Check the blog on how to get in fro free.
In our first two years together we racked up around 150 gigs, selling out shows in our home town Dunfermline, King Tuts in Glasgow and The Old Blue Last, London. We recently set up a promotions company, Weekend Revolution, which has helped to regenerate the Dunfermline music scene.

We're looking for a new drummer
As the title suggests.
We're looking for a new drummer for the new year. Butch has decided he can no longer commit as much time and effort as he'd like so has decided to call it a day. He will be playing the remainder of our booked gigs, probably until the end of January. We obviously wish him well

We're off on our holidays to get bonkered!!
Hullo!!
As a result of the Pars defeat to the wee team in Fife on Saturday, we have decided to take a few weeks break from gigging.
We've been at it non stop for the best part of 3 years now and not really had a proper rest to work on a load of new stuff. So now is the time.
Over the next 3 months (Sept, Oct, Nov) we'll be hauled up in 'The Shed' writing, recording and filming. Hopefully by the end of it we'll have a new set of tunes for your listening pleasure. As always, we'll post new demo's & video's on our page and will keep you updated with any goings on via the web-cam, blogs and bulletins. We've almost finished a new tune already and hopefully we'll have it posted within the week. It's called 'String 'Em Up'
The plan is to polish off a brand new set and tour Scotland with it in December. Following that we'll be looking at another jaunt down south and maybe start to think about an album.
