- Formed in Edinburgh. Rieser are four-piece band. Rieser have steadily, over the years, gathered a strong and loyal following, performing gigs all over the U.K. and featuring on Local & National Radio as well as internet radio and download charts. Reaching the No.1 spot on www.ragtime.co.uk and featured on www.tartanpodcast.com. Rieser are also featured on channel4's music http://www.channel4.com/music
Innumerable positive Press reviews, as well as headliners in their own right, Rieser have supported the likes of The Grim Northern Social, Dogs Die In Hot Cars, Cherryfalls, Tippi and Aberfeldy. Appearances all over the UK over the last year and a new album pencilled in for early 2007, the band is working hard to get the Rieser sound across to the masses.

We're just back from an 800 mile round trip to Birmingham and High Wycombe for a tremendous gig at the Roadhouse, plus a great session/interview with British Forces Radio with the show due to be aired on 9th July.
The next stage of our mini-tour supporting Miami's 'Nothing Rhymes With Orange' is on

Glasgow.
