-You know you're a scout when you find you can put off the need to pee for an entire day, just because it's really cold and you can't bear the thought of having to pull your pants down.

-You eat better at camp then you do at home

-You can relate anything you do to a camp story.

-You get excited about camping in weather any sane person wouldn’t venture out in

-You sell popcorn instead of cookies, but deep down inside you love those cookies.

-You can match any number you hear in regular conversation to a number in a company/crew you know.

-Girls, you NEVER forget that guys in scouting are guys

-You don’t actually know how to use an old fashion compass.

-You’ve been to at least one jamboree and had the time of your life.

-You know what a jamboree is.

-You see a fleur-de-lis and think of scouts before Quebec, unless you live in Quebec.

-You are not actually a boyscout but you tell people you are because they have never heard of Ventures or Rovers.

-You automatically hit it off when someone tells you they are also in Scouting.

-You know the very small difference between a scouting and non-scouting event.

-You can’t figure out why people have such a hard time getting their 40 hours of community service in High School (ONT)

-Fires are made from more gas then wood.

-The meetings go on, even if you are locked out of the meeting room.

-Tents are optional when camping.

-Rain is seen as a source of drinking water…not a pain in the butt.

- Naphtha stoves are the way to go…none of these massive heavy propane tanks.

-You do know what poison ivy looks like, but you are the first person to get it because you just couldn’t care less.

-You know there is a WW3.

-You don't know why people use flashlights.

-You can kick white waters ass in a canoe, but the moment you hit flat water you tip.

-You first move away from home and all you eat is camp food because it is the only thing you know how to cook.

-EVERYTHING is just better outdoors. .

-You see the dirt in your food, but eat it anyway.

-You begin packing 5-20 minutes before you're supposed to leave.

-When every stain has a story behind it.

-You know the exact date that Scouting became Co-ed, and are constantly saying "No, I don't mean Guides...Scouts is Co-ed..." to people the first time you tell them you're in Scouting. And are constantly educating those same people that Scouting goes past the age of 12. And that youth can be as old as 25 in Scouting.

-You couldn't imagine dating someone non-scouting.

-You see a pile of wood near the river and within a day your floating away.

-Camping comes second hand nature to you.

-You could not think of a better way to meet great people then scouting.

-Your tent floats at night from all the "gass".

-When camping and ashes get into your hot chocolate it adds the little bit of extra flavour. Same goes for marshmellows.

-You buy your next car based on how much gear it will carry.

-Takes less time to buy food for12 people for camp then it takes to so your own shopping.

-You have mastered the skill of changing in public without exposing yourself.

-You know your a scout when you can get everyones attention with just a cheer!

-When you recognise people down the street, but don't recognise them because they are not in uniform. .

-You believe that synthetic ropes are more boring because they don't need whipped on the ends.

-People offer to lend you a tent for Oxegen and then look at you strangely when you explain you have 3 at home.

-when you can strike a match off a bar of soap.

-You know your a boyscout when someone says "I just broke my arm" and you respond immediately with" its okay I brought duct tape".
