Our Goals: To raise up, develop & train Youth Leaders, to facilitate youth through evangelistic events and faith based programmes, to resource clergy & Youth Workers and to encourage effective cross-parish & cross diocese cooperation

3Rock Youth is

an initiative created by and for the united dioceses of Glendalough and Dublin. It's goal is to bring this teenage generation to an active living faith in Jesus by raising up, developing & training Youth Leaders, running Evangelistic Events and Programmes, resourcing Clergy & Youth Workers and encouraging effective cross-parish & cross diocese cooperation. Our hope is to become a one-stop shop for effective training and evangelism and to serve the church in reaching “generation now"

Leadership program

3Rock runs a youth leaders programme, to train and equip young leaders and offer a place for people who are keen to get involved with 3Rock or youth work. To get involved in our leadership program, or for imformation on any of our training days, check out www.3rock.net

School retreats

Our aim is to facilitate students as they explore their faith in God, and to help them express that faith in this rapidly changing twenty-first century world. We achieve this through personal stories, film clips, discussion groups and interactive games.
Some of the topics covered are: Faith and choice / Image and identity / Bullying / Forgiveness / Suicide awareness / Alcohol and drugs / Relationships and sexuality.
We currently with work with over 2000 secondary school students each year and hope to expand that. We are focused mainly in the Dublin and Glendalough area, however we also run school retreats throughout Ireland.

Camps

Susan oversees our Summer camps.
Jr. Camp: (10-12s), Senior camp: h (Secondary school students). They run in July for 2 weeks and along with Sports, activites, the dangerous olympics, talent shows and daily meetings where campers are encouraged to think about their faith. We have discussion panels where you can ask any question you want. We are also extremely well fed by the Gurteen staff and the facilities are great too.
