1)Life really is too short to b afraid!
I'm almost 18, only a week and a bit to go and it has occured to me how much of my life I live in fear! i'm always scared of what people will think of me or that I'll do something dumb or upset someone...but i'm starting to learn that what people thnk of u dusnt matter-at least not too much anyways...it matters to some degree of course. As for doing dumb thngs? Laugh it off! If ur laughing people will see ur laid back and wont be as harsh when it comes to mocking etc.
As for upsetting people? There's always gona be someone who has problems with you, I've learnt this year that being urself can be more than enough to put noses out of joint but thats not my problem! As long as im not setting out to hurt or annoy people itentionally i cant help how other people feel! Now that I know how much I live in fear, I realise how much I miss out on in life because of it

2) life isn't about impressing other people!
Like my profile says be yourself-everybody else is taken! and that is so true, God made us each individually and we're all here for a reason, no good wishing i was someone else-that would be saying God made a mistake and we know-that just doesnt happen!
Emma gave me a lovely painted stone that says "God made you unique" on it and for me it's a great reminder, it also has the verse ephesians 2:10 on the back if u want to check it out

3) Life isn't always easy!
Sh*t happens, and a lot of the time it can't be helped. GET OVER IT! You can't change the past, the future is in the future so focus on the now, don't worry so much and don't have regrets, it brings you down real quick. Rise up to the challenges that life throws at you, you can only do your best in life and then at least you can say you tried and did your best!

4) You can't always have what you want!
You have to take what you can get, i'm not saying don't dream or hope for things but don't be disappointed when things dont go your way-maybe it just wasnt meant to happen....

5) Single does not have to mean sad!
There is so much more to life than finding that special someone, when you're meant to find them you will and it'll be great!

Ok so now you have my thoughts about life, I just have to say while i have thought these things I'm still a long way from learning them completely myself! Now it's time for me to go out and LIVE!!!
