- Información
- Arundhati Roy is an Indian novelist, activist and a world citizen. She won the Booker Prize in 1997 for her first novel The God of Small Things. Since then, she has concentrated her writing on political issues. She is a figure-head of the anti-globalization movement and a vehement critic of neo-imperialism.
We is a professionally made 64 minute fast-paced musical documentary that covers the world politics of power, war, corporations, deception and exploitation.
It visualizes the words of Arundhati, specifically her famous Come September speech, where she spoke on such things as the war on terror, corporate globalization, the Middle East conflicts, September 11th, justice, peace and the growing civil unrest in the world. Witty, moving, alarming and quite a lesson in history.
