- The Collards (Formerly Katch) formed in October 2005 when Jimi joined Jay, Jon, Mike and Neil to complete the Five Piece. With a successful gigging History in places such as the Cavern and Jacksons Pit, Katch made their mark as one of the better Live acts around.
2 years on and due to other commitments, Bassist Mike left the band. Although the band were disheartened by this they carried on. Jimi’s brother Dan had been writing songs and being Katch’s guitar tech since Jimi joined the band. So Katch chose Dan to replace Mike.
Now the band have changed their name to the Collards after a piano in their practise room. The Collards intend to carry on gigging out and about the UK and hopefully some one will recognise them.

It Was A Fantastic Night And We Really Enjoyed Meeting Up And Watching The Wallbirds And Of Course One Night Only Themselves. Both Bands Were Class On The Night And They're Sound As Also!
