Today my suspisions of our up-and-coming gig with Wee Duggy in Paris Texas being cancelled were confirmed. Paris Texas had apparently already made plans for the night in question and another suitable location couldn't be acquired by the gig organisers so the event shall take place on an unknown future date, hopefully late September- early October.
I give my apologies to anyone who had made plans to come see us but lets be honest, was anyone actually going to go?
Anyway, it's back to the drawing board for us and if any gigs come up they'll be posted here and on www.myspace.com/ikcd so keep checking the page.

By now some of you may be asking questions such as these:
Where are IKCD?
Why aren't IKCD in botb this year?
When's the next IKCD gig?
Are IKCD ever going to put songs on the bebo page?
Does Davy floss???

Well fret no longer for all these questions are about to be answered!!!:

1) Well I know where I am and I have a strong idea where Davy is but I don't know about Micheael. As for Lee, I wouldn't say he's even totally sure where he is.
2) We weren't arsed. I know we said that we were too occupied writing new songs at the time (which isn't a total lie), but really we just weren't arsed.
3) I'm not really sure. Possibly September.
4) Nah! There are a few on the myspace page (www.myspace.com/ikcd) and any new tracks will probably just go there.
5) What happens in Davy's downstairs bathroom, stays in Davy's downstairs bathroom!!!

If you`re one of our closer friends or people familiar with the music scene in kilkenny you may have noticed that we have not been playing or have played all too many gigs...!
There`s a simple reason for this and that is that we have been writing new songs and in the risk of sounding a little too serious about it all basically we have been developing our sound with the creation four new songs the past few weeks in addition to a few old new ones most people wouldn`t of heard yet.
Some how we haven`t felt the need to gig on a regular basis and have been quite content with the pleasures of turning out a new song or two and maybe even
disregard an old one that we feel isn`t quite up to scratch anymore rather than having the preasures of gigging arrest our development.
This being said we do plan to play a few shows and are currently in the process of organising one or two....nothing too stessfull.=]
Also with the addition of purchasing our very own recording equipment we hope to have demos of new songs turning up both here and www.myspace.com/ikcd on a regular basis......in a ikle while!
