Me, Myself, and I: Living Ashes are a band from Redondo , formed in 2008. Its members are Joana Fernandes (vocals), David Ferreira (guitar), Filipe Queimado (guitar), Iládio Amado (keys and sampler), José Luis Siquenique (drums and percussion) and Duarte Cancels (bass). The group want to show that music is one of the main vehicles of expression of freedom and the only universal language that really exists and is immediately perceived by everyone, regardless of geographical location or ideology.
The concept Living Ashes, wants to convey the image of ash remnants of renewed life, continuity and evolution. The previous projects of each element have been overcome, assimilated and renewed in this new musical mix. The musical tastes and experiences, sociability and personality of each of the components of the project, regenerates itself and assume a new shape and sound aesthetic.
