Why should being an artist be painful?
Lots of artists are seeing their dreams chattered. Being an artist in the current industry is like climbing the Everest. It is like swimming against strong waves. So many tears are shed along the way. This is mostly because music is no longer something from within, a joyful explosion of thoughts into the physical realm. It has become more of a repetitive exploitation of the art, a bitter assimilation of the artist’s mind and feelings.
Being an artist should not be this painful. After all music is profound and comes from places that are guarded within. No matter how one strives to control it, it eventually finds a way to be free like a songbird.
Artists do not make better music because of how old they are, how beautiful they look, where they come from or who they know!!! Music is a gift that must be nurtured, a feeling that must be echoed, a thought that must be written, freedom that must found.0 Comments 629 days
