    By A.C. Croom
    Historical Western Romance
    (author website: http://accroom.com)

What could be better than loving a brave and beautiful woman? What could be better than seeking a true home after years of the dangerous life a gambler and gunfighter leads? What could be better than having friends willing to back your play, with no questions, because it's the right thing?

What could be better than all that?

Surviving a Showdown In Shadow Creek!

Showdown In Shadow Creek steps back in time, to a place where men earned what was theirs at the end of a smoking gun, where nothing was free except the air to breathe, where a bend in the trail could hide fortune or death, where the only land a man was sure to own was a four-foot by eight-foot plot on boot hill.
Being shot at was nothing new to J. R. Bell. A gambler by choice and gunfighter by necessity, it was the risk he faced everyday of his life. But now he wants to change that life and his fate leads him to Shadow Creek and his one chance to settle down. In town only hours, he meets Eve Southerland and is wounded by an unknown assailant. His fortune and misfortune combine and lead him inextricably toward a confrontation with destiny.
Amid unanswered questions of a town hiding a secret, the streets of Shadow Creek becoming over-populated with hired guns and a murderous scheme to separate him from what’s rightfully his, J. R. falls in love. Only one thing stands in the way of his claiming the heart of Eve Southerland and starting a new life. A showdown is building. Are John and Eve willing to fight to get what they want? Or, will they lose everything in the Showdown In Shadow Creek?

    Seducing My Husband

    by: Anastasia Rabiyah

    Available at: http://loveyoudivine.com

Tina misses the hot lover she married. For two months, he hasn't laid a finger on her in a sexual way. Her best friend suggests an affair, but this determined housewife has a plan of her own.

Tina's husband has a new job that's taking him away from her for twelve-hour-a-day shifts. When he comes home, he's tired, grumpy and in no mood to service his wife. This won't do at all. Although her best friend thinks Tina ought to call off the search for Steven's missing libido and seek pleasure in the arms of another man, this housewife knows how to cook up some special excitement. She's willing to work for what she wants and needs even if it means having an affair with the man she married.

    Ebook ISBN: 978-1-60054-201-5
    Length: 4,880 words
    Genre: Erotica
    Rating:Shooting Star
    $2.00

    Excerpt:

"Tina, maybe you should have an affair," Marlee said, stirring her fork in the strands of angel hair pasta on her plate. I gaped at her sitting there looking like a beauty queen with her perfect blonde hair and make-up. She didn't even look up from her food or flinch at what she suggested I do. My best friend simply went about eating as if cheating on my husband meant nothing. It was then that I knew she couldn't possibly understand. Marlee was single. She could afford to do whatever she wanted, and she did just that. Not so for me. I'd made a commitment. My plan to stick to it remained intact despite Steven's lack of enthusiasm in our love life for the last two months.

"Affair." I laughed and lifted my glass to her. "You have no concept of love and marriage. That's a one way ticket to divorce."

She raised her face to smirk at me, nodded, and shoved a forkful of pasta in her mouth. That's her way of not saying anything else to piss me off. A good choice too.

Nevertheless, as I left Rosatti's in my pristine white minivan with its so-obvious-I'm-a-mommy bumper stickers about my honor roll student children, I thought over her suggestion. An affair meant new possibilities, new conquests, maybe new positions and excitement. At the stoplight on Fifth and Bradstreet, I studied the wedding ring on my finger. An amethyst jewel stared back at me. He knew I didn't like diamonds or gold and so the stone had been set in silver, simple and orderly, not garish, not overdone. Just the way I liked it. I groaned and pressed the pedal when the light changed.

"Affair," I said again, this time to myself, not liking the idea of having to get used to a new man's ways. "That's not what I want." I knew what I wanted, the same thing I wanted ten years ago. "I want my husband."

The drive home allowed me to plot and plan. For two months he hadn't touched me in a sexual way. No more goodnight kisses. Most times when I crawled into bed, he turned away and muttered a half coherent wish for sweet dreams. When we dated and even after we married, we were two fireballs of passion and desire. Karen, my other friend—the married one—had warned me that the fires settle down and burn at a steady pace later on, but I guess I didn't want to believe her. I needed to stoke the flames, add some fuel and set the blaze alight in a burgeoning bonfire. Besides, our flames weren't steady of late, they were dead. Nothing but cold, black coals.

I pulled into the carport and pressed the button to shut the garage. "Hair dye," I mumbled. "Sexy dress. His favorite dinner." It seemed simple enough. I rushed through the kitchen, past the living room and sprinted into the master bath. Stripping off my blouse and pants, I watched my nakedness appear in the mirror. I could stand to lose a few pounds, but my shape revealed ample curves—cleavage and hips he used to love to fondle and clutch. Fingers skimmed over my pubic hair. A shave was in order. A little surprise for him to discover when he slips off my panties tonight.
