What are we doing for the 40 hour Famine: We will be riding one BAXI non-stop for 40 hours. It is going to be a hard one, but we will make it work.

We want you to hail a BAXI along the kerbside. Hop on and tell us where you and your friend want to go. We will pedal you both with our thighs of steel and buns of iron. You guys can get to have a bit of fun and give us what you think your ride is worth at the end. All koha/ donation go towards World Vision.

    When: Friday 22nd 8pm - Sun 24th midday

What for? Raise enough $ for World Vision to purchase 6 bicycles for Rawanda

What are the bicycles for? Bicycles are in great demand in third countries as it is a major labor savings device. Whether it is for transporting water, people, food and other items, it is six times more efficient. A person can travel longer distance and is more efficient when compare to walking on foot; it is more affordable and has lower running cost when comparing to a petrol-run vehicles. It is the perfect solution for third world countries. Kids can attend schools who live in remote areas; adult can sell their products in the market to support families; Health workers can travel to different remote areas to help local. It is truly a sustainable transportation.

Where: We will be putting BAXI stop signs in town, look out for them.
