      I'm talking about jumping off the bridge, camping down the river and when u could float down from the top bare body without a tube it was a big accomplishment, hide and seek/spotlight go home stay home in the park. Getting a growling for taking Short cuts thru people’s houses. Getting Taupos second hand skate park and going down it on a new world trolley, when pushing your shopping home in a trolley was allowed, when mclaren park was one of the most exciting places to be. When you could go up 2 any ones house an use their bike for the day an it was ok. Bbollo after school, hopscotch, four square, go carts, tree huts, skipping (double dutch), handstands, elastics, bullrush, catch and kiss, footy on the best lawn in the street, slip'n'slides, jumping on the trampoline with water on it (or a sprinkler under it), pajama jams (parties) hula hoops, jumping in puddles with gumboots on, mud pies and building dams in the stream. At least 1 ally way on every st, All ur friends going to the Nabors just to play on there tramp, making traps in the ally ways, never talking to the boi/gurl next door at school but after school they were best friend. Stealing fruit over fences on the way home from the river or school. Fire cracker fights at Turangi primary on guy forks day, egging mrs Gwilliam’s house every year on Halloween, throwing toilet paper around the town xmas tree. 'Big bubbles no troubles' a dollar worth of mixed lollies lasted a week and pretending to smoke "fags" (the lollies) was really cool!. 2 dollars' worth of chips from the corner take-away fed three people (AND the sauce was free!!).Being upset when you botched putting on the temporary tattoo from the bubblegum packet, but still wearing it proudly. Watching cartoons: 'power rangers, Conan, The Smurfs', 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', Saylor moon '', Or staying up late and sneaking a look at the "AO" on the second telly, being amazed when you watched TV right up until the 'Goodnight Kiwi!' When it was Jason Gunn & Thingie After School and What Now was on Saturday mornings! When around the corner seemed a long way, and going into town seemed like going somewhere. Where running away meant you did laps of the block because you weren't allowed to cross the road?? when we first got burger king it was so exciting, A million mozzie bites, wasp and bee stings.Sticky fingers, goodies & baddies, cops and robbers, cowboys and Indians, riding bikes till the streetlights came on and catching tadpoles in horse troughs. Going down to the hirangi primary school swimming pool when you didn't have a key and your friends letting you in, drawing all over the road and driveway with chalk. Climbing trees and building huts out of every sheet your mum had in the cupboard. Walking to school in bare feet, no matter what the weather. When writing 'I love....? In the ally way, really did mean it was true love. "He loves me? He loves me not?" and daisy chains on the front lawn. stealing mail boxes, Stealing other people's flowers from their gardens and then selling them back to them...Running till you were out of breath. Laughing so hard that your stomach hurt. Pitching the tent in the back/front yard (and never being able to find all the pegs). Jumping on the bed. Singing into your hair brush in front of the mirror, making mix tapes...Sleep over’s and ghosts stories with the next door neighbors. Pillow fights, spinning round, getting dizzy and falling down was cause for the giggles.. Water balloon fights up at the town park. Weetbix cards pegged on the spokes transformed any bike into a motorcycle. Collecting x men, odd bod and basket ball cards. Eating raw jelly and raro, raazoos, milo, chocolate weet bix, redskins and ka bluies making homemade lemonade, tomato sauce sandwiches, a traffic light popsicle, or a Paddle Pop... You knew everyone in your street - and so did your parents! When it was considered a great privilege to be taken out to dinner at

      4. Go to the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on layby.

      5. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

      6. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.

      7. When a clerk asks if they can help you, begin to cry and ask,
      "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"

      8. Dart around the store suspiciously loudly humming the "Mission Impossible" theme.

      9. In the auto department, practice your "Madonna look" using different size funnels.

      10. Hide in a clothing rack and when people browse through,
      say "PICK ME!" "PICK ME!"

      11. When an announcement comes over the loud speaker, assume the fetal position and scream..
      "NO! NO! It's those voices again!!!!"

      12. Go into a fitting room and shut the door and wait a while; and then yell, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!

      13. Get several bouncy balls and throw them down an aisle shouting "go, pikachu, go!"
