- After 6 long months of fundraising all money has now been collected and donated to Helping Hand (the charity exclusively for the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children) in memory of Aaron Montgomery. In total we have raised £9676.39!!!!
Thanks to everyone for their hard work, generosity and support throughout the fundraising campaign, it has been greatly appreciated.
The childrens hospital is a great cause and hopefully this money can make a difference. It is also hoped that this fundraising campaign will have increased the awareness of the dangers of violence and remind people how easy it is to take a life!
People say that words are cheap and I think that in this case the number of people who supported and helped with the fundraising, and the amount of money raised says more than enough about the type of person Aaron was and what people thought of him. He is deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
