- Daniel Morcombe is missing, feared Abducted and Murdered. He disappeared on December 7th, 2003 while waiting to catch a bus.
He was last seen on Nambour-Connection Road under the Kiel Mountain Road overpass Woombye, approximately 2km north of the Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Date of Birth: 19.12.89
Physical Description: 150cm in Height of stocky build with dark hair.
Clothing Worn: A Red 'T' Shirt with the word "Billabong" printed on the front, dark knee length shorts, white socks and light coloured Globe runners.

Daniel Morcombe Foundation
The Daniel Morcombe Foundation was established after Daniel Morcombe, a Sunshine Coast boy, was abducted while waiting for a bus on a busy highway in our local area. He is still missing. His parents, together with local community leaders, have collaborated to establish the Daniel Morcombe Foundation, through which funds raised will go:
to educate children regarding their personal safety (including abduction)
to assist victims of crime, particularly where crime involves children
to provide a vehicle to attract funding from State and Federal bodies and to establish and maintain a public fund to attract public donations and bequests
to continue the search for Daniel
to raise funds from public and government entities to support the above objectives
Queensland and Australia have rallied behind the Morcombe family in the hope of finding Daniel. The Daniel Morcombe Foundation was created in response to a strengthened community resolve to ensure that this type of tragedy never occurs again.
Dance for Daniel
Terri Irwin and Australia Zoo crew attended the first annual Dance for Daniel, held at the Sunshine Coast on Saturday 4 March 2006. Australia Zoo donated a framed and autographed Steve Irwin khaki uniform with an original photo of Steve in the uniform. The item was placed in the auction for the night, and raised $3600 for the Daniel Morcombe charity. Australia Zoo also donated a prize pack including Australia Zoo merchandise and passes that was given away as a lucky door prize on the night.
As you would have read in this 'Zoo Gossip' article, this year Terri also attended the second annual 'Dance for Daniel' event held on March 3, 2007. It was a hugely successful event for the Daniel Morcombe foundation, providing more exposure for their cause and almost tripling their fundraising target! Terri Irwin and Australia Zoo are proud to provide continued support for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

Children's Week
Australia Zoo proudly hosted celebrations for Children's Week from Friday 20 October to Tuesday 31 October 2006, featuring the launch of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation (DMF) DVD. The DVD launch was hosted by Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs Mal Brough, as well as two young Children's Week ambassadors from local schools. Held in the Crocoseum and shown on the big screen, this was the first official screening of the DVD, which was created to promote child safety and create awareness of the issue in schools.
From 20 - 31 October, Australia Zoo had DMF wristbands for sale to raise money for the organisation, which provides education to children about personal safety, assists victims of crime and aims to continue the search for Daniel.
Day for Daniel
Tuesday 31 October was not only Australia Zoo's Halloween fun day; we also took the opportunity to support a Day for Daniel. The Queensland Police were here at the Zoo to help us increase awareness for this excellent cause, as were members of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Along with our fantastic Halloween fun, games and prizes, our guests won some fantastic prizes thanks to the DMF, including show bags with the Daniel Morcombe Foundation DVD, stickers, tattoos and a CD! Staff and guests showed their support for this worthy cause by wearing red wristbands and t-shirts on Tuesday 31 October.

SUSPECTED ABDUCTION and MURDER
DANIEL JAMES MORCOMBE
$250,000 REWARD
REWARD:
The Minister for Police and Corrective Services has approved that a reward of $250,000 be offered for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the suspected abduction and murder of Daniel James Morcombe.
INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION:
In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.
The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner.
CIRCUMSTANCES:
Daniel James Morcombe, 13 years, was last seen at Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast between 1.30pm and 2.15pm on Sunday 7 December 2003. Daniel planned to catch a bus on Nambour Connection Road, near the Kiel Mountain Road overpass, and was to go shopping at Maroochydore. He has not been seen since.
Daniel James Morcombe is described as 150 cm tall, proportionate build with a fair complexion, blue eyes and dark brown hair.

Look at the case of Jaycee Dugard in the USA-returned to her family after so many long years-fingers crossed the Morcombe familt will have a happy reunion!

Official Help Find Reachelle Smith53 settimane faReachelle was last seen at her residence in Minot, North Dakota, by her guardian at approximately 1 a.m. on May 17, 2006. When the guardian awoke the next morning and found Reachelle gone, the guardian's male roommate stated that Reachelle would be spending a few days with his mother, with whom the child has a grandmother-type relationship. On May 22, the guardian awoke to find the roommate missing, along with her own van. She called police to report the missing child and roommate. The roommate was later found dead in the van, by an apparent suicide, outside of Minot. Reachelle was not inside the van.

Amy Fitzpatrick disappeared on the evening of New Year’s Day 1st January 2008 at approximately 10pm when she left her friends house in the tourist resort of Riviera Del Sol on the Costa del Sol to take the 10 minute walk home.
Amy was 15 at the time of her disappearance; she has black hair, blue eyes and has a pale complexion. She is 1.65m tall and was wearing dark coloured crushed velvet tracksuit bottoms and a black T-shirt with the word “DIESEL” in various different colours when she was last seen. She had no money, phone or passport as she was still on her Mum’s passport. She was wearing her friend’s clothes and carrying a bag of her own dirty clothes.
She turned 16 on the 7th February 2008. On the night Amy disappeared she was babysitting in her friend Ashley’s home. Ashley watched Amy walk away form her door and that was the last time Amy was seen.
Amy is originally from Clare Hall on Dublin’s North side and she moved to The Costa del sol with her Mam Audrey her Brother Dean and her Stepdad Dave four years ago
Her computer and phone have been checked thoroughly and nothing was found to suggest she has left voluntarily with someone. Amy has numerous sites on social networking sites, e.g. bebo, my space, face book and MSN and none of them have been touched since she went missing.
