Christmas Carnage Results
Festive fun filled the air at the Summerhill Hotel last Saturday night as Wrestlezone presented ‘Christmas Carnage’ - with a stellar card of fantastic wrestling action awaiting Aberdeen’s wrestling fans.
Our last supershow of 2009 featured high-flying action, championship matches and even an appearance from Santa Claus! This was no silent night as the stars of Wrestlezone looked to ensure they ended the year on a high.
Here are the results from a momentous show, held December 11th;
Scotty Swift Vs. ‘The Enforcer’ Dave Malice
Our opening contest of ‘Christmas Carnage’ was a battle between former Heavyweight Champion, Scotty Swift, and the bodyguard of Sterling Oil, Dave Malice. Scotty’s aim in this one was to get back to winning ways after losing the Heavyweight Championship to Lionheart at Aberdeen Anarchy IV. Malice, too, was motivated to scoop a surprise win over Swift.
This bout started out with Swift dominating until Malice was able to slow things down and go to work on Swift. However, Scotty kept battling back and eventually scored the win courtesy of the Death Valley Driver. Malice will be disappointed not to have picked up the victory here, however Swift begins the rebuilding process in his quest to gain championship gold once again.
J Hazard Vs. Andy Wild
Our next bout featured the return to Wrestlezone of J Hazard looking for a win over Wrestlezone’s newest recruit, Andy Wild.
These two fought back-and-forth but eventually it was the speed and agility of Hazard that gained him the victory, courtesy of the Flying Elbow from the top rope.
Wrestlezone Tag Team Championships : Sterling Oil Vs. Cysto & Bryan Tucker
Our next match witnessed the return to the Wrestlezone of Cysto - accompanied by rookie tag team partner Bryan Tucker. How would this new pairing compare against the champions, Sterling Oil?
Things looked great from the start until William and Alan were able to isolate Tucker from his corner. After a number of false starts, Bryan was eventually able to make the tag to Cysto who began to clean house. Could this unlikely pairing pick up the titles?
It looked like they would until Oil’s manager Richard R. Russell interjected himself in this one as the referee was distracted, striking Tucker with a wooden walking stick that he had brought to ringside. This was enough to gain Sterling Oil the victory and ensure at the end of 2009, they remain Tag Team Champions!
‘The Prodigy’ Mikey Morris Vs. Damien
This was a battle where there was clearly no Christmas goodwill as the battle of former tag team champions erupted in the Wrestlezone! After Damien’s betrayal at Aberdeen Anarchy IV, Morris was out for revenge but he was unable to use his high-flying prowess as Damien grounded ‘The Prodigy’ in this one.
But Morris’ never-say-die attitude served him well as he kept battling back from under the domination of his opponent. Morris eventually struck a roll hitting a number of his patented aerial moves in a row - however Damien was motivated too and wouldn’t stay down!
How would this one end? Ultimately, Morris took one leap too many and this allowed Damien the opportunity to capitalize. A vicious kick to the back of Morris’ head ended this one - and ensured ‘The Enigmatic Icon’ Damien was the victor! Furthermore, Morris needed help to leave the Wrestlezone having surely suffered a concussion after that strike to the back of his head. What does this mean about Morris’ future?
‘Diehard’ Iain Morris Vs. Crusher Craib
An aura of destruction then filled the Wrestlezone as the monstrous Crusher Craib faced a rematch with ‘Diehard’ Iain Morris after their bout at our last Aberdeen Supershow.
Things started out well for Morris as he was able to frustrate the monster in the early stages. But Craib is called Crusher for a reason - and this was clear as he went to work on Diehard. However, M0 Kommentare 2 Tage

Christmas Carnage Preview
Scotty Swift V Dave Malice
After relinquishing the Wrestlezone Heavyweight Title back in October, Swift will be looking to get back to winning ways. In his way stands the bodyguard of Sterling Oil- Dave Malice!
J Hazard V Red Lightning
The unpopular Red Lightning makes his Aberdeen debut when he takes on hometown favourite, Hazard. This should be a great contest!
Tag Titles: Sterling Oil V Kid Fite & Bryan Tucker
After being part of the victorious team over Sterling Oil back in August, Kid Fite has been granted a shot at the Tag Titles. His chosen partner is the untested rookie, Bryan Tucker. Can this new duo topple Sterling Oil?
Mikey Morris V Damien
The relationship between these two former Tag Team champions crumbled in October as Damien turned his back on Mikey with a vicious superkick during a match. Damien’s reasoning being that Mikey was “trying to hog the limelight”. This should be a bitter battle.
Iain Morris V Crusher Craib
A DQ victory for Craib did little to satisfy either man here in their tussle back in October. This rematch has been signed with a view to a clear and decisive winner.
Wrestlezone Heavyweight Title: Lionheart V Johnny Lyons
The newly crowned Champion, Lionheart, faces the man who attacked him after his victory back in August- the loud mouthed, arrogant, Johnny Lyons. Lionheart will be looking to get his Title reign off to a bang while Lyons will be looking to win his first Title here in Wrestlezone.
Doors open 7pm, action kicks off at 7.30pm. Entry is £6.0 Kommentare 33 Tage

Aberdeen Anarchy 4 REVIEW
Wrestlezone returned to Aberdeen for what was sure to be an inspiring night of top wrestling action - topped off by the biggest match in Wrestlezone history!!!
The bout between Scotty Swift and Lionheart caught the imagination of the 200-strong audience who had turned up to ‘Aberdeen Anarchy IV’ at the city’s Northern Hotel. Could Scotty finally prove to Lionheart that he is the best or would Lionheart achieve his goal and win Wrestlezone’s top prize? All would soon become very clear….
No Limits Championship : Jason Rotanda (champion) Vs. Andy Wild
Opening up the show was this battle of the powerhouses as Rotanda looked to extend his four-month reign over a man making his Aberdeen debut; one of Scotland’s hottest up-and-comers, Andy Wild.
In the opening stages, it was clear Wild’s reputation has been well-earned as he put on a wrestling clinic against Rotanda, who became increasingly frustrated at his antics. Rotanda, you might have guessed, resorted to cheating his way to victory, but it was evident he had a fight on his hands.
Despite hitting him with power move after power move, Wild kept firing back. In the end, the finish to this one was tight, and it took a finger to the eye from Rotanda to edge out the advantage, as he hit his signature Alabama Slam for the three-count!!!
It was a good, if unsuccessful debut in Wrestlezone for Wild, but I’m sure Rotanda will be relieved he escaped “Aberdeen Anarchy IV” with his belt intact.
J Hazard Vs. Dave Malice
It was then time for hometown favourite J Hazard to grace the Northern Hotel - and he looked like he had the time of his life in front of the boisterous Aberdeen fans.
The fans love to hate his opponent, Dave Malice, and that was evident by the mammoth cheer that Hazard received after hitting a Flying Elbow Drop which gained him the three-count.
Malice’s luck continues to be out in Aberdeen, but for Hazard this was another return to form in the Granite City!!!
Wrestlezone Tag Team Championships Sterling Oil (champions) Vs. Damien & Mikey Morris
The big rematch from Aberdeen Anarchy III saw the tag titles on the line, with Damien & Mikey looking to regain the belts they lost three months ago.
Ever since then, Oil have dodged the high-flying dynamic duo, but there was no escape as Damien and Mikey opened up with a flurry of offence.
For Sterling Oil, old habits die hard and they once again resorted to desperate measures to try and retain the championships. They isolated Mikey and went to work on him, but the resilience of “The Prodigy” allowed him to summon up the strength to make the tag to his partner.
The momentum swung and Damien and Mikey seemed on an inevitable path to victory. However, then the unthinkable happened…
Out of nowhere, Damien super kicked the teeth out of his tag team partner, Mikey Morris. There was no explanation as the crowd was stunned into silence. Damien left the ring and watched as Sterling Oil beat the hell out of his ‘partner‘. But Damien was unmoved.
An Oil Crash later and it was all over - Sterling Oil remained the champions. However, that was not the real story here… Damien’s unthinking betrayal of Mikey had the crowd in anger. Never fear Aberdeen, because Mikey Morris will get his chance for revenge, as Wrestlezone management quickly signed up a grudge match for our next show.
On December 11th, it will be Damien Vs. Mikey Morris, the battle of former tag team champions, in what will be nothing short of a war.
Bingo Balance Vs. “Tenacious” Johnny Lions
It was announced that the winner of this match would be named the number one contender to the Heavyweight Championship, and with so much on the line, these two put everything they had into winning that spot.
Balance was clearly the crowd-favourite as he dazzled his opponent with some innovative high-flying action which looked like it would gain him th1 Kommentar 62 Tage
