A nuclear weapon is a type of explosive weapon that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions of fusion or fission. As a result, even a nuclear weapon with a small yield is significantly more powerful than the largest conventional explosives, and a single weapon is capable of destroying an entire city.
Two nuclear weapons have been detonated so far, both by the United States of America, when they dropped a uranium gun-type device code-named "Little Boy" on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The second was detonated three days later when the United States dropped a plutonium implosion-type device code-named "Fat Man" on the city of Nagasaki. What would you do if a Nuclear war broke out?
- Find basic shelter (inside your home, shed, a building, etc.)
- Get to an underground shelter and hideout.
- Put my gas mask on and go help my friends/family.

if you send off nukes, the country ur firing at will send nukes then everyone else will and before u know the worlds been blown up ten times over
im confused to whether i should join because i agree the actual physical USE of nuclear weapons is wrong but in a way they are preventing large wars, america made an accident i doubt they actually new how devastating the bomb would be i doubt it will happen again.

these bombs kill thousands and destroy entire generations of people and continue to harm the environment and everyone who comes into contact with genetics scarred by nuclear attacks and so forth. only a true idiot would condone this sort of mass murder no matter what circumstances they were in.

America was the only country that deployed them.
As an irish republican socialist, i disagre to this group, other than if it is for a good cause.
Like for example, if Iran Nuked Israel (alot of problems would be sorted out and then we would all be happy), then thats acceptable, but not Nukin' innocents, thats just wrong.
