- Trades Bar Afc play in the Dundee Sunday Welfare Premier League.They were formed in 1987 as Scottish Albion and changed to the Trades Bar in 1996. The Trades Bar home strip is barca tops with blue shorts and socks. The away strip is white tops with white shorts and socks. The new 3rd strip is short sleeved obsidian/royal blue tops with royal blue shorts and socks. The team are sponsored by The Morrison Brothers at the Trades House Bar Dundee situated at the top of Union Street. Trades Bar Afc are also sponsered by Kenny White of ECE Engineering Dryburgh Industrial Estate and by Paul Bowers Motors Clepington Road Dundee. The Trades Bar Afc are the current holders of the SFRA Cup and Welfare Division 1 Title Holders

Junkie Thief Gets a Holiday Via Her Majesty`s Pleasure
Kevin John Ogg (29) Balbeggie Terrace, was jailed for 4 months by sherriff Hughes at Dundee today.
He admitted that last sunday he stole 2wallets 2mobile fones and £275 from Caird Park Stadium.
Depute fiscal Trina Sinclair said players from the Trades Bar football team saw accused standing around and later found their dressing room door had been forced,Accused was disturbed and ran off towards Mains Castle.
Ogg was traced next day and the wallets and a key fob were recovered from his bin, the cash and mobile fones were not recovered.
The sheriff told Ogg he had a dreadfull record and this was a particularly nasty case.

Morning lads,
This years outing is slowly getting closer and closer, 8 weeks on Saturday, so I'm afraid I will have to start collecting the remainder of any monies due. Ideally I would prefer to have all money collected by the middle of next month at the very latest so there is less hassle for ME on the day, also it will give me a chance to buy prizes, bottles etc.
The cost for the outing is £45 less your deposit.
I have already phoned Glenrothes GC to ask if we can use the 2 for 1 tickets and they have agreed they would honour them. This means that we will have a large amount of money AGAIN to put behind the bar.
I will be using the same system as last years with the tickets which was a better way of everybody getting their fair share of drink and also saved ordering big rounds.
I have 34 names down for playing golf with only Bruce Tocher, Andy Weir and Daryl Small to confirm if they are coming. Can someone please get in touch with them to see what they are doing!!!!!
I will not be asking for any replacements if they decide not to go.
Also any donations for prizes would be much appreciated, if you can get back to me on if you can donate a prize that would save me buying any additional bottles.
At the moment the bus has been booked for picking us up at 8:30am from the usual place then picking us up from the club around about 7:30pm.
There's not much else to say at the moment, but if you can get the money to me as soon as possible that would be a great help.
