Cheers for the kind words, the Vale scored 3 remember in pre-season (and nobody else has scored 3 against us this season whether it's a friendly or competitive game). Clydebank defied the odds a few times last season in the cup too, beating Meadow, Lochee United and forcing eventual champions Bathgate to a replay. We have a decent track record against the Vale but disregarding the 5-0 league win in 2006-2007 at Millburn, the games are USUALLY one-goal contests and are pretty tight. I'm not in the habit of misunderestimating anyone and when it's the cup then anything can happen - with a fair few 'big names' looking set to drop out early on with fixtures like Kilbirnie v Pollok and Bo'ness v Auchinleck, this could be the year of the underdog.

Aye, not all the Vale guys think too kindly of us, but I've been down Millburn a fair few times when a Bankies' game has been called off - was pleased to see them bounce straight back into the Central First last season as well. Hopefully it'll be a very entertaining match.
