The ATTICA RAGE sound is a unique combination of four individual, experienced musicians. At the core lies the signature power-house double-bass drumming cemented by the thunderous, often-threatening, often-distorted bass guitar. A wall of thick, meaty rhythm guitars is layered on top with the bluesy, melodic and powerful lead vocals blasting through it all. Then there are the screamin’ guitar solos full of technical brilliance and soulful moments. At the heart of the songs is essentially a love for The Big Riff, complete with catchy hooks and dominant melodies. Comparisons have been drawn to the likes of Black Label Society, Metallica and Corrosion of Conformity but there are many other bands that inspire them: Black Sabbath, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Type O Negative, Motorhead, The Almighty, Alice in Chains, Anthrax and many more have all played their part in shaping the sound and attitude of the band.

Classic Rock magazine selected Attica Rage for the Battle of the Bands on their website where you can download a free mp3 track from each and vote which band you want to win. The winning band has a track included on a future Classic Rock magazine covermount CD, gaining exposure to 70,000 readers! Attica NEEDS to win and we have a few days left to get the votes in!

Our debut single is available NOW!
We've released 'Dark City' from our Ruin Nation album and it should be available from all major download stores including iTunes, TuneTribe, Napster, HMV & more worldwide.
The single also includes a bonus cover version of Motorhead's classic 'Overkill' which has become a live favourite at Attica Rage shows
