Sonic Syndicate is a melodic death metal band from Falkenberg, Sweden. The band was formed in 2002 and was originally known as Fallen Angels. They are highly influenced by other Swedish melodic death metal bands such as In Flames and Soilwork.
They recorded three demos, Black Lotus, Fall from Heaven, and Extinction before signing with Pivotal Rockordings in 2005. After signing with Pivotal Rockordings the band would change its name to Sonic Syndicate and recorded its debut studio album, Eden Fire.

In 2006, NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS took note of this underground sensation and offered them a new home. The band entered Black Lounge Studio in Sweden that same year with producer Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY).
Soon to be held in such high regards as the bands that spawned them, SONIC SYNDICATE is hands down one of the best new comers the scene has to offer. See why Anders Friden of IN FLAMES calls SONIC SYNDICATE’s Only Inhuman, “A new force in Swedish metal..."
