I have in my possession the finest EEb Tuba ever made. Hand crafted by the most skilled Elves, Men and Dwarves it has the power to ward off evil. Like the Sword of Kings, only one of noble blood can wield it. Yes, this me people, me!
My new Tuba arrives Thursday, will be showing it off at the gig in Clon Sunday.
Good luck today Band, i'll be think of ya.
So, what did people think of Tubagatelle? Sounds a bit strange I know and the accompliment is very sparce. As Ken rightly said, how often does a Tuba get a solo?
Bandhall was flooded during the week. Music, Instruments and furniture damaged. Fingers crossed we can get it back to normal.
Not many people can say that they played a tuba at the top of Shandon; or even played a Shandon bell with the bell of a tuba. Wednesday's last gig with the Buttera for 2009. Roll on 2010.
If you want to see an inactive page, go to the st. fachtna's silver band bebo page. Nobody but me has ever gone there but at least it's not pink.
STILL Pink -.^ and what an inactive page..bebo is gay anyway lol
eeeew its pink!!!!!
How did band go last night? Tired lungs and swollen lips? Good luck to all playing in the Bandon Band tonight. I'll look forward to playing with you all again on the 15th.
I see we are using the new bebo site template, keep up the good work Lisa, it's lookin' good. Apologies Marie, I assumed Lisa updates the site as she created the first one. Good job, I like it. See you Sunday in Blackpool.
Hi Guys well done on a fab job on sunday, band looked and sounded fab, will get pic up as soon as we can, In reply to: "130 years and still going strong!" by Butter Exchange Band
I'm to be sent to Lancashire for 6 weeks to a year so I will be uavailable to attend practices and maybe gigs as well. I will miss you all, even the stupid winny sound of the saxaphone. That irritating sound the instrument makes no matter who plays it. Anyway, keep on practicing, it all adds up and I will see you whenever I can. Best wishes, EEb Bass.
Pitty we are not entering the Clonakily Southern Region Band Championships this year. I was looking forward to showing the other bands what we've got. But more importantly for us to hear other bands. At least I won't get confused as to what instrument I'm playing with the other 2-3 bands.
Hi All, I hope we get maximum attendance tomorrow night. There will be two guests down to hear our talents. They are looking to hire us for there wedding reception. So fingers crossed they will be blown away by the Butter Exchange Brass & Reed Prize Band sound,
Hi guys , it official we are brill, I got great comments about the band in Clon and Courtmac on Paddys day, every one thought the new jackets looked cool, and it was also noted that our numbers were up, also we sounded fab on the day, I'm just telling ye what was said to me. Well done to all again ye are just fantastic,
I would like to thank and congratulate every who played today in the Clonakilty and Courtmacsherry parades. They were both long blows and I think we did ourselves proud. I understand not everyone could mate it : ( Hopefully next year we will have an even bigger band 25+
Appologies for my tardiness at practice last night. Traffic, narrow streets and parking we all against me. I had better be on time Sunday or disiplinary proceedings should be started. I though "Someone To Watch Over Me" worked well last night. The soloist didn't have to over blow as the accompaniment was listening to the soloist. Well done to all involved, keep it up and we will be more than just a band.
