Seems there is always something to learn. Why is there so much jealousy within work places? Why can't we just let the people work and trust them with their experience and knowledge. It seems all we wanna do now a days is run to a lawyer and forget about the people. CYA... Self governance? Not in my time. To much hate, lying, backstabbing and watching our for yourself for that to ever happen. If we want change it has to start with us, then we pass on to our children. Stop the jealousy, hate, hurting.

Well, I do love the work I do, there are some mundane things but that's to be expected in all lines of work. I still get to use some of my desktop publishing experience, I do miss the rest of the aspect. I enjoy editing film, meeting with the Elders of our community is definitely a heartwarming experience. I love this job because it teaches me something new. I am slowly learning about my own culture and traditions, there's still lots more to learn and I look forward to hearing more from my Elders.

I am finally on the right track to receiving a Hul'q'umi'num' name for myself, my daughter and son and his two children. I am meeting with Aunty Marge this weekend. Life is good.
