- Deathstars is an industrial metal band formed in Sweden in January 2000, The current lineup consists primarily of members from Swordmaster, a black metal project and Ophthalamia , but also has former members of Dissection. The band currently consists of Whiplasher, Nightmare Industries, Skinny Disco (bass guitar, backing vocals), Bone W Machine and Cat Casino (guitar).

DEATHSTARS- Gold Edition of "Night Electric Night"
On January 30th, there will not only be the standard version of the new DEATHSTARS record "Night Electric Night" but also the deluxe package called "Gold Edition" including 2 bonus tracks as well as a bonus DVD featuring 6 video clips, making of and more…
The "Gold Edition" will be released as a Digi-Book with a new coverartwork.

Greetings!
I am sad to announce that I will not partake in the upcoming European tour with Korn. Personal reasons are the main issue in this case and this is more important to me right now then a tour.
I hope you all understand this and dont throw a EMO fit. The drums will not suffer though since the extremly competent Snowy Shaw will be whipping skins and breaking sticks in my abcense.
And no, I am not leaving the band.

Deathstars in the Studio - 19 November 2007
On Monday 29th of October Deathstars entered Metrosonic Recording Studios in NYC to begin the recording of their new album to be released in spring 2008. This album will start another chapter in their history of vanity, darkness, blood and sleaze. The recording sessions will continue throughout November and December and the mix is set for January so get prepared for a 2008 filled with exploding Deathglam!
