As you should all be aware by now, the final round of D-rift Battle 2009 at Watergrasshill, is creeping up on us quickly. The last round will be a ONE DAY EVENT only and ALL drivers will be competing on Sunday the 18th October only. Because we only have one day to run everyone off entries are limited. There are still some places in both Novice and Pro classes but they will no doubt fill up fast in the coming days. So to avoid disappointment, call us now on 051 590792 (Monday to Friday only) or email your details to us at info@d-rift.ie
Please only enter if you are actually going to turn up. If you do reserve your place and do not turn up you will be black listed for next year.

June 14th is a date for your calendar... Xtreme Promotions and Slick Magazine are once again coming together to bring to you a spine-tingling line up for this year’s event. After the unprecedented success for both Coolnights and Heatwave in 2008, you are forgiven when you might ask “How can they top that?” Well we can...on the 14th of June we are going to bring to you an event that will take your breath away.

OUR TOP EVENT ATTRACTIONS:

While the cars are the stars of the Heatwave Motor Show in Swords, Dublin there's a full range of activities to make it a fun outing for the whole family. The Heatwave Motor Show is more than a Motor Show of 2009 -- it's an event!

• Trade Village
At the trade village you will find all the latest in car entertainment and innovative ideas, wheel selection and styling.
Here you will also get a chance to catch up with the newest trends. All kinds of Motor related clothing will be on display too. This will be a day for bargains as many of these trade stands will have show stopper specials on offer this event only so get ready to haggle.

• Vehicle Gallery
This year we are aiming to have the largest selection of vehicles on display ever. Within the main hall and outside in the cruise strip, you will find Hot Rods, Top Marque, High Performance, American classics and Muscle cars. Custom choppers and Custom Trucks.

• Owners Clubs
We are inviting you and your club to show and promote your club or organisation. We will have space for more then 20-30 cars per club. For full details and for booking your club call us today on 051 590792.

• Live Action
Xtreme Promotions have long since set the bar when it comes to live action events and this year’s live action arena is no different. As usual we will be seeing smoking sideways action from the D-rift display team, who have always been a crowd pleaser. (More Acts To be confirmed)

• Radio Controlled Drift Car Track
Taking drifting to another level, the guys from rcdriftirl.com will be holding round 2 of their RC Drift Championship at Heatwave Motor Show. These R/C drift cars look just like the real thing ... only smaller ... and a lot less expensive! Watch these guys manoeuvre these cars with extreme skill!

• E.M.M.A Sound Off
Always a great attraction at any event, the low frequency, big base and mega sounds in these in car stereo systems will blow you away!!

• Bianca Gascoigne: Top Model & Television Personality
In 2006, Bianca won the hit reality TV show “Love Island” set in Fiji and in the same year she appeared on the front cover of “Loaded” magazine. In January 2007, Gascoigne was on the cover of “Nuts” magazine. She has also been featured in Maxim, FHM magazine, and numerous tabloid newspapers. In August 2008, she appeared on the cover of Zoo Weekly.
In July 2008, she competed against glamour model Danielle Lloyd, on the TV show Gladiators in a celebrity special, which she went on to win, supporting a charity for domestic violence.

Dublin has had more than enough drift demos throughout the years, I’m sure most of you have seen at least on, but it never hosted a REAL Drift event... Well, we’ve decided to change that!
D-rift Battle are thrilled to announce that, for the first time EVER, we are bringing the best drifters to the Capital for a Top 16 Special.
Where? Kart City, Old Airport Road, Santry, Dublin
When? Sunday March 29th, Gates 1pm – 5pm
Our Top competitors will go head to head in electrifying Twin Drift Battles. We’ll be keeping the boring stuff to the minimum and the exciting action to the max. So if you want a day of entertaining skill, lots of tyre smoke, and all round teeth clenching drifting this is the day out for you.
Since this is the first time that an event of this kind will take place in Dublin, and the first time that drifting will be held at Kart City, it is sure to be a sell out. Tickets are on sale now at www.kartcity.net
