theRITES are a 5 piece Rock 'n' Roll band fae The Black Isle deep within the Highlands of Scotland. Since forming they have gathered a wide variety of credits such as radio airplay in the UK, USA and across Europe, finalist places in the UK Songwriting Contest for 3 years running & various events & showcases such as Belfest (Belfasts' annual music showcase), The Belladrum Festival, Loopallu, goNORTH and goHI to name a few. theRITES have gained huge critical acclaim for their live performances & a show was voted in top 10 gigs in the UK during 2005 by the Musicians Union. The ability to put on a show like no other have resulted in established acts such as Hayseed Dixie, The Bluetones, The Undertones, The Delays, The Cinematics & The Grim Northern Social to request theRITES to support at various venues around Scotland. theRITES have also enjoyed being credited as one of Scotlands' top 3 unsigned acts at a recent showcase at Glasgow's Carling Academy, with their keyboard player being hailed as best all-round musician. A very similar compliment was paid following their outstanding performance at this years' goNORTH showcase, which saw the RITES hailed, again, as one of Scotlands' top unsigned acts. The band continue to spread their music and recently completed a UK tour that saw them play London, Liverpool, Manchester, Derby, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness. theRITES are currently working on their new EP with Rise2Red Studio producer Graham Gillanders, who has worked with the likes of Atomic Kitten and is ex-OMD keyboard player. Thank you for your recent correspondence with regards to the above mentioned PCN (Public Comment Notification), issued as the CEO (Cunty Eedjit Orge-Gay) believed that you, The George, "have already shat on the guest bed in preperation for (my) sleep..." and that I, The Meemzy, "would be predictably shit-faced by the time (I) get back to the flat and find it (your stewing shite) rather warming - like a hot water bottle almost".
Having reviewed all the details of the case in full, I regret to inform you that the PCN cannot be, er, "successful", on this occasion, and hereby issue you with this delightfully retarded response as a "Fuck You, you old Dingwallian cunt".
