Following the overwhelming success of their first 2 albums, 'Inside In/Inside Out' and 'Konk' (scoring UK chart positions no.2 and no.1 respectively,) combined with a hectic worldwide touring schedule that saw the band on the road for most of 2008, The Kooks took a brief step back from the limelight earlier this year and retreated to a friend's house in Norfolk...

It was here, in a converted farmhouse in East Anglia, where work on their much anticipated 3rd album began. Writing sessions in Marseilles followed but, never ones to stray from the energy of the stage for too long, the band returned to the road earlier this summer for a string of European festival dates and headline shows in South America. During these shows they accumulated a wealth of photo/video footage which can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/THEKOOKSOFFICIAL and on this page.

    Please dont read this..nooo! sorry but In 1997 a girl called lauren was walking in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirrorr saying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary</3 died shortly after.
