Formed in 1973, Runrig have established themselves as one of the best live bands around. With a unique blend of rock, folk and Gaelic song they wow audiences throughout the UK, Denmark & Germany. Brothers, and founding members, Calum and Rory Macdonald are recognised as two of the most important gaelic songwriters around - they have been responsible for the large increase in awareness of Gaelic culture among many non-Gaels.

  • Bruce on Radio Borders

    After the launch of Bruce’s latest solo album No Final Destination, Bruce will be co-presenting The Sunday Getherin’ with Karin Ingram on November 15th.

    Playing tracks from his new album and more music from Cape Breton, Bruce will be taking questions from the fans and there will be a few special giveaways too. So tune in and enjoy!

  • Scone

    Now that the last piece of scaffolding has been dismantled and the last burger box put in the black plastic bags, all parties involved are lauding the Scone Palace show as being an outstanding success.

    From the promoters, to the police, to the fans and to the band themselves, there was unanimous note of positivity. For many it could be the Homecoming event of the year. Our thanks to all of you that were there, and that made the occasion so special and memorable for everyone involved.

      there wont be a dvd but if you are a fan club member the next volume of access all areas is going to be dedicated to scone palace.

      Tbh...i think im the youngest person to know of them..but then again, i genrally never know what im talking about! lol. Btw, im 14, for those of you who are wondering :P . ive loved them for as long as i remember. i practically grew up with the music. lol.
      i went to see the "Everything You See" Concert :D was amazing!! lol
      Though, my fave album is Mara! lol. i especially love "Meadhan Oidhche Air an Acairseid" lol.
