Hi, Maguire & Daughters is a home based family run business set up by myself, Donna. It was set up in 2005 just before my youngest daughter was born, which is where the name "Maguire & Daughters" came from. Most of my invitations are handcrafted and each one takes a considerable amount of time to finish. This is why I am restricted to the number of orders I can take on per week, so order early to avoid disappointment. Orders are generally completed 4 - 5 weeks from receipt of deposit depending on the quantity and design of the invitations ordered. Please contac me to disguss late orders.
We also do a wide range of traditional, printed, personalised and caricature invitations starting from €1.40 / £1 each.

- Day/Evening Invitations
- To calculate the number of invitations to order you should divide the number of guests on you list by 2 and add 10. Should you require more invitations last minute that will be no problem we give priority to our customers and wont charge extra no matter how big or small the quantity required.
Your invitations should reflect you and your partners personality and play a very important role in setting the right mood for your big day.
It is reccomended that you post your invitations out 6-8 weeks prior to the date.
The RSVP date should be 2 or 3 weeks prior to the big day but you should check this with your reception location first as they may differ. - Save the Date
- "Save The Date"
A save the date card states the date when you plan to marry, so that recipients will know to keep that date free. Save the dates usually take the form of a card, but we also do a refrigerator magnet. They are sent out at least six months before the wedding date, and are followed by a formal wedding invitation.
If you have a definite date set and are getting married abroad or getting married on a busy period such as Christmas or summer time, then these will be helpful for you especially if any of your guests are coming from abroad this will give them that bit more notice to organise their trip.
Quantity required: divide number of guests by 2 and add 10.
Your save the date cards will be designed to match your stationery and come in 2 designs:
Flat style - 105mm x 150mm @ €1.40
Fridge Magnet - 70mm x 11mm @ €2.00 - Reply Cards
- REPLY CARDS
These are very important to keep you organise and to keep tabs on the number of guests actually coming. All though they are usually the first bit of stationery to be cut when budgeting in fact these will save you money and a lot of stress in the long road.
If you are on a budget a good idea is to put your mobile number or email address on your invites instead of reply cards, so your guests can text/email you their reply. You could even set up your own personal email address to use soley for this purpose (ie: don&tomswedding@gmail....)
Your reply cards will be designed to match the rest of your stationery and are available in 3 styles:
Standard - 65mm x 105mm(folded) @ 0.90c*
FlatCard - 95mm x 95mm @ 0.90c*
Postcard Style - 105mm x 150mm @ 0.90c
*Come with envelope.

The order of service booklets are designed to match your invitations and come in 3 sizes:
A5 @ €2.50 cover only
A6 @ €1.85 cover only
DL @ €2.50 cover only
Prices for completed booklets (16page):
A5 @ €4.00 completed booklet.
A6 @ €3.35 completed booklet.
DL @ €4.00 completed booklet.
These prices are based on standard printed booklet covers and inserts. Embellished booklets and booklets bound with ribbon cost extra. Please inquire. - Place Names
- Place Names
If you are doing a seating plan you will require place names. This can sometimes be very stressfull if you have a large number of guests so make sure you have the time and patience before starting or have someone lined up to help you with this task. Another popular suggestion is too seat just the surrounding tables to the top table this will ensure that you have your close family members close to you through out the meal. - Thank You Cards
- You may need to order more Thank You Cards than invitations because you ill get a lt of gifts from people who don't attend the weeing. You should take note of the gifts received and send out the Thank You cards either as the presents come in or with in the weeks following the wedding.
