Apart from that dont really have much to say. Finished uni 2006, working on the new anniesland college project. Slowly getting addicted to this bebo thing.
2007
Bit of a crazy year for all involved!
Moved house,
Krackow with the boys,
Paris with the tartan army,
Amsterdam with the amigo's,
Spain with evil Rick,
New car
Partied pretty damn hard too
Made new friends, lost some old 1's along the way.
So was this a crazy year or just a taste of whats still to come?
2008
Parachute Jump done!
Stag do to tenerife end of Feb
Bulgaria in August
Watch this space...
- Music
- U2- best live act ever, ever...ever!
Foo Fighters are living legends
Razorlight are pretty damn good too.
Pretty much anything with a bit or rock.
Wee it of indie & a wee bit of dance- easy to please really - Films
- Snatch is a classic, defo a fan of the new bond movie. Anything gory that tries to make you jump is always good.
A MUST SEE IS "HARD CANDY" sounds a bit like a blue movie but its a psycological thriller that leaves you gripped to the end.
Also "All the boys love mandy lane"- Briliant! Its a really good film and you'll be left asking yourself what the hell happened there? - Sports
- Football, Scotland and Glasgow Rangers
- Scared Of
- Getting Old!!
- Happiest When
- Drinking- Sleeping- waking up from a night on the town and not having a hangover and remembering how you got home (rare)
Playing football (it doesn't say you have to be any good at it).
Having one of those lazy sunday mornings. - Dislikes
- Hangovers- surely there should be a warning on the bottle!
And recently they've become a way of life
The price of diesel- are they having a laugh?
The cost of a taxi home from a night on the schwally - Top 5 favourite songs? (at the moment)
- 1) With or without you- U2
2) Iris- Goo Goo Dolls
3) How to save a life- The Fray
4) Starlight- Muse
5) Manic Street Preachers- Motorcycle emptiness
This can change weekly like my taste in most stuff!

Funeral Speech
Rick Moir
My big bro
I’m Kris- Rick’s wee brother- I’ve known Rick all my life- obviously.
I’d like to thank everyone for coming today and paying their last respects.
I’d also like to thank rick for being on time- I didn’t think you were going to make it but you did.
I know this sounds obvious but Rick was a big brother to me and I mean that in every sense of the word
When we were young he would torment and annoy me
When I got a bit older he’d look out for me and take me to concerts.
The last couple of years we got on great. As you are no doubt all well aware, rick had a knack of introducing people and I got to meet lots of new and interesting people and for that I will be forever thankful.
I was fortunate enough to get the rick moir holiday experience at the tail end of last year. Not for the faint hearted of those who like to sleep. Recently we’d been closer than ever.
My only regret is that we didn’t have more time together, so I’ll thank him for teaching me how to party and how to “live life for the moment”
Rick had an extreme personality and I honestly believe the word was made for him.
Wither it was his snowboarding down the wrong side of a mountain and having to get a taxi back to his resort
Or
Breaking bones with his power kite
Or
Crashing golf buggies
He always pushed boundaries to the limit chasing his next kick.
He loved his music. The music we chose today was music that was important to rick. His favourite song was the gambler by Kenny Rodgers. He said the reason for this was because the lyrics of this song reminded him of his life. He introduced it to me on holiday last year and I hated it.
I’ll miss his sense of adventure and the way he was always there for me. He was there for so many people and he loved the way that people needed him. My thoughts are with Debbie and Christopher at this time.
Rick once told me that he
“should be given money by the U.N for the work he does bringing happiness into peoples lifes” and for all the work he did.
I’ll miss our deep conversations like:
If there was a god
Or
If the aliens built the pyramids
Or
How the universe was made
Or
Trying to figure out what the universe was and what was holding it up.
These were all conversations that only rick had the answer for.
I’ve lost a brother and everyone here has lost someone who was truly unique and completely irreplaceable.
In ricks death I feel like I’ve gained three big brothers in Mackie, Dougie and Graham and although she is older I feel like I’ve got a wee sister in laura. Which is typical of rick bringing people together even after he’s gone.
So I’ll miss you dude- cheers for being my big bro. Plenty of time for you to sleep now. Gone but never ever forgotten.

Paris 07
As you know i am not a bebo person- but i think that Paris 07 was worth sharing.
I've never heard an atmosphere like it, it was unreal.
This trip was a once in a lifetime event. Booked my flights on monday morning and flew out on tuesday.
Me, Jamie, and Ian drove from Glasgow to Liverpool, then flew from liverpool to to paris cdg drinking all the way then waking up in my hotel room the next day with little recollection of the night before.
Wednesday was the day that made the trip a legendary. We went to the arc de triumphe then we drank all day under the eiffel tower with thousands of of the best fans in the world. We marched about 3 miles from the tower to the ground. There were thousands of us- the french shut the streets down for the march. Singing the whole way the atmosphere was amazing.
The game made history! Jumped at the goal and wrecked my phone and broke my sunglasses!
Thursday seen me leaving paris at 10 at night, bout 10 hours after my mates and flying from paris cdg to heathrow (business class with free schwally), getting a taxi from heathrow to gatwick to the tune of £55 bucks (were the taxi driver a sri-lanken with limited english took me 20 miles past gatwick before realising) where i sat until 7 in the morning with a hangover that i'm sure was something sickening before flying to to glasgow and getting in at 8.30am (so a 12 hours journey from the centre of paris with a £55 taxi)
I'd do it again tomorrow!!0 Comments 125 weeks
