It's been awhile huh?
Let me share my summer with u...

IT was a very slow paced, interesting, life changing and an emotional one!

Not long after gettin' home from my holidays,.. it dawned upon me that my holidays started with a funeral & ended with another

I've come to find out & realize dat Life may be difficult, challenging & can be good... all @ da same time...

Due to my health, i didn't do much travellin' dis summer...
So wen i got to destinations, i stayed in place for a week or so.
I had good visits with Family & Friends <3 ...Mainly in Mist & M.F ...

Just recently, Mom found out she has 3 sisters in Mist...2 dat are still livin' & 1 dat has passed on... They share da same Father, but diff moms...So it's fun , still meeting new cuzins every time i go to Mistissini.. <3
As a matter of fact, i was going to start my holiday by goin' to visit Aunt Eliz & Uncle Matthew & Family, and get to know dem more...But Uncle got called home to glory just den & he took off on us :'( ...so i was der for his funeral...Da days after were spent mournin', grievin' & bein' der for each other...It was so sad & yet comforting ... Knowing that he is now with da one He loved & served! <3 ..God be with da Family as dey continue life without him...<3

In Moose Factory, In laws are well & gettin' up in age...it was wonderful to spend some time, even tho it was only a week...i treasure dem with all my heart! <3...It was good to see my bro in law Bert continue recoverin' & healin' from da passing of his son Geoffrey. ..July 21 marked one year since his passing, we wanted to be der with our Bro for dat...Got to clean & sigabeow Geoffrey's last goose dat he had killed & ate it dat day </3 ...It was also good to be der during da GOOP Days..you know, runnin' in to ole friends & meetin' & makin' new ones! <3

After getting home, i was shocked to hear dat my buddy Arnold had passed on...was saddened to hear how he passed...i miss his random visits & hugs , but not so much his pinches! Ouch!!!

Den, second week of Aug, i heard word dat my dear friend Percy wasn't doin' so well ..i prayed & pleaded dat God heal him... Now,... i know, dat God is a healer, but i also understand dat he is giver & taker...On August 14, My friend lost his battle to cancer & God decided to end his suffering & take him home . So heartbreakin' :'( ...Yet, it is comforting to know dat he is not in pain anymore, even tho he is sadly missed here on earth ...I will forever treasure da friendship dat we shared <3 ...even tho da journey may be difficult and long,...i know God is comfortin' & healin' his family & friends thru all dis pain...

Finally On Aug 25, A lil sun peeks in (felt like it anyways)
We witnessed da marriage of my beautiful niece Vanessa (Bunshee) to Robbie Matoush of Mistissini. It was a beautiful wedding! I was well enuff & got a chance to have a dance with my lil bro Jimmy! I didn't know he had a hidden talent in dancin'! ..put me to shame!... Eeinhh, not!!! lol

Den one day, while i was visitin' Momma ...outta nowhere, a stranger comes to her door...We welcome him in & he starts to tell his life story ... It turns out that he is a biological bro to Momma , Boyh, der Father was a busy man! Lol ...Dat means: i have an added Uncle & apparently have family in Mashtewiyatch ... more cuzins to meet, yawhoo! :-)

Another step or part of our healing journey was to find the grave of my hubby's Father...For sum time now, he had wanted to do dis...& dis summer, he felt he was ready to do so...he researched, asked around & finally found wer his bio Dad was restin'...so we went to visit him (his grave), Man, we were ballin' our eyes out dat mornin'! :'( ..He never met his father, apparently da guy was only 23 years old wen he died in a car crash. ..He had a lot to say to him! ...It was such an emotional day ;'(... Of course, i had to give him a piece of my mind too! ;P ...We went to our friends' Dale & I

Da facelift didn't go well...Doc says too much skin to stretch! LOL

It wud mess up ma beautiful smile! :-)

still recoverin' slowly, ..overall, life is good!

juss wen i thot spring was here..Winter comes lashin' back, brrr

Winter was not dat cold i find, but still juss a l'il too long...

Today is a good day to get stuck in bed! ...Not funny, ouch, but still breathin'!

No matter wat..Spring & Summer will be here! :-)

Got a few options, places to go, things to do during Goose Break ..

Going Spring Camping is not one of 'em...

I think i can still get my hands on a few geese even if i don't go out der! :p

Dat is if dey don't call me..Hope not, Not during my break.. anytime but my break!

I'm due for a face lift, a tummy tuck & i don't remember da other things! lol ... I'm only jokin' bebo ppl! ..minor repairs only, i hope!

well, i'm outta here..
can't stand it.way too quiet !! lol
